Really pleased with unit. I'm a DIYer and found the install straight forward, only hiccup was my misunderstanding on installing the tension control.
I was most pleased with the opener 'knowing' the opening and closing limits without me having to do any config. I also like the motion detector on the wall control that turns on the lights on the unit.
Biggest disappointment is that Homelink doesn't work with our 2012 Hyundai Elantra and it took going to online user groups to find out about the incompatibilities. I could understand if an older car, but I figured a new car and a new opener would work together.
Haven't tried the MyQ yet, but looking forward to use it soon.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Chuckwow Performs as Advertised and Very Quiet
I have a garage door opener to do just that: open my garage door. I want it to open and close from a button inside the garage, a coded pad outside the door and from a remote transmitter in my car. My newly installed WD962KEV does that perfectly. I replaced my noisy 12 year old screw drive opener with a belt drive.
Oh, how quiet this performs! I find myself looking at the door to make sure it is closing when I am inside because it is so quiet. I don't hear the operator, I hear the door panels and roller. The car transmitter range has more than doubled. I have already used the battery backup because of a storm related power outage. None of my neighbors could open their doors with their operator without electricity.
Those reviewers who complain about a 5 piece rail instead of a stronger one piece can't carry the one-piece rail home from a store in the trunk of their car. Those who complain about the latest technology in radio controls coming with their new unit not working with their out-dated car controls don't understand that many of these radio changes are due to government regulation and personal safety. The "standard" height garage door is still 7" in height. If one wants to open a door 8 feet high, one should perform due diligence before their purchase.
I can remember when door openers would wear out in 5 years or less. I expect this operator to give me even more than the 12 years of service my previous operator gave to me.

If you need help from Chamberlin forget about it. I have called 10 times on a bran new professionally installed unit because of a manufacture defect. Their customer service team just reads from a script and cannot think outside the box to help resolve the issue. Also note that labor is not included in the warrantee. If you have to replace the logic board or any internal components you are on your own. Also wont send you a replacement unit just parts.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Brian Very Quite opener!
Coming from a screw driven opener, this thing is SUPER quiet. If it weren't for the minor squeaks from the door hinges, I would never know if the door opens or not. Set up is pretty simple. Although, double check the orientation of the trolley before you bend the tab at the front. Also, a very important note. The instructions about the tensioner are incorrect in the assembly manual. The little orange tag in the tensioner bag is correct. The tensioner goes IN FRONT of the bracket on the trolley with the square nut towards the front. Probably the smartest thing Chamberlain did was pre-program the remotes at the factory. If you plan on using the phone app, you must buy the $50 gateway that plugs into your router. I definitely recommend this opener.

I replaced a 17 year old chain drive opener, it was still working but the noise was waking up the family when i would leave for work in the morning. I decided on a belt drive due to its quiet operation. I am more than satisfied, you can't hear it from inside the house. The door was fairly easy to install by myself, completed the task in 3 hours. Make sure to read addendum prior to installing the belt. Programming all the remotes and my old keypad in under 5 minutes. I could not be happier. I had buyer remorse because i was replacing a operational unit, but that went away the 1st time the door opened. As far as backwards compatibility with our older vehicle, i just put the opener that was provided, no big deal.
