4-Burner Propane Gas Grill with Outdoor Stove Side Burner-DISCONTINUED is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 179.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rust-prone cooking grate! I purchased this grill in April 2010 and used it several times over the summer. After each use, I would burn off the excess grease, clean the grates and replace the cover once it cooled. By the fall (Aug.) of 2010, all three grates had started to rust. When I opened the grill three weeks ago, I discovered the grates were complete rusted. The replacement parts are very expensive. After searching online for a universal replacement grate, I discovered that the majority of Char-Broil owners have had the same problem despite caring for the grill according to the manufacturer's instructions! Do not waste your money on this grill.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just another throw-away grill... After 2 full seasons, under wraps, the exterior of this grill still looks very nice and shiny. But, unless that is what you purchase a grill for, stay away from this one. The igniter is going out, 2 burners will no longer come on, and the flame tamers have all rusted through. I cleaned the grill thoroughly, twice, to remove any caked on 'stuff'. My best guess is that I have actually grilled on this unit 30-40 times in a 2 year span, so if you divide the cost by the number of times used, maybe it's not so bad :). Find a cheaper throw away grill after a few seasons, and you will be just as satisfied.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unfounded complaints Doesn't anyone realize that covering the grill simply holds in the moisture and it WILL rust. The cover is simply to keep precipitation off the grill - but it still needs to air out or it will rust. The grill needs to be put into a shed or in the basement in the winter months. I've had a grill for over ten years without rust. And yes, the burners and grill plates are different material and can be replaced for about 30 dollars every 4-5 years. If you leave a car under a cover for many years, it will rust as well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Average Grill... I have owned this grill for maybe 3 years. The price was fair and I have no complaints about grill cooking performance. As mentioned by others I did start having major rust issues. I cleaned the grill regularly and kept it under a cover for the first two years than I kind of gave up. The outside looks fine but the inside is a mess. Everything is rusted and to replace the parts would cost more than a new grill. Literally I would have to completely gut this grill and replace everything on the inside to bring it up to standard. If buying a new grill every few years is something you are comfortable with than this will do, I plan to upgrade I would rather spend more and have a grill for ten years than do this again. The irony is the outside of the grill looks perfect, I wish that much effort was put into building quality on this inside. Disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rust Bucket The speed at which this grill has almost completely disintegrated is quite impressive. After a little over a year of owning this grill (and taking good care of it), there was a large hole rusted through the bottom of the firebox. We are not quite at two years now and the entire bottom of the firebox is gone--rusted out around the bolts that held it on and now sitting on our deck under the grill. The starter went out long ago, and the grill grates have all cracked and rusted as well. I'm glad I read this reviews and now know I'm not the only one! Don't be as cheap as me and get yourself a quality grill, because this one will not last. (I live in Austin, Texas, by the way--not really Rust Capital, USA).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Complete Garbage I purchased this unit less than 2 years ago at $399.00. It is now lower because of newer models. I spent the extra money because it says "Commercial Series" don't be fooled, I grill a lot and it is not anywhere near commercial grade. I have always kept it clean and it has totally disintegrated. Burner box, burners, cooking grates, flame tamers, warming rack. The only items that are covered under warranty are the burner box and burners which, you have to pay shipping??? If you grill more than once or twice a month do not purchase this grill.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Grill!!! Wish They Had At Store... I have used this grill twice now, and so far the results are fantastic. I was able to put it together in about 3-4 hours, but it was fun and the instructions a somewhat clear. There is one step where it gives the wrong kind of screw size, but I worked through it. The grill gets hot very hot, very fast. While I wanted a Weber, they were just too much money and this is the lowest price I have seen with a side burner. Just an FYI... The metal dented during shipping so I called Home Dept for extra parts, and they were more than willing to help. BUY IT!!!! It is well worth the money!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Let there be Flames!!!! and unfortunately MAJOR rust.... Got this grill for a great deal back at the end of 08. Now that 2010 has ended and i gave the grill a SOLID 2 years of grilling (at least 2-3 days a week, rain or sun) I am giving this grill a review.... PRICE POINT - Good grill for the price. I wanted something that i could use on a regular basis and be more of a centerpiece on my deck. Other grills in the same caliber were $100 to $200 more. To bad it only lasts 2 years before it falls apart... AESTHETICS - Grill was in great shape when i got it. Put together no problem and the Stainless steel looked clean with the tank hidden. Could use a bit more support on the non-grilling Preparing side of the grill. Over all a good looking grill. QUALITY - The first year was similar to a new car. Very nice and clean and had that "new grill" smell. I always kept the grill free of debris and stains and cleaned the dripping tray and burner covers once a week. The problem started about a year into ownership when stuff started rusting... I live in a warm part of California so no major weather. The stainless is the only part of the grill that has not been completely oxidized and rusted beyond use. The drip tray has fallen off, the flame tamers are on there last leg, the warming rack has rusted off and all three BBQ grates have rusted and split to the point i no longer want to put food on them. Now some of you are saying to youself "you should have had a grill cover on it". I answer back with "the grill was protected by a cantilevered overhang that stopped the weather from getting to it. The rusted parts are INSIDE the grill not the outer shell." I went to Char-Broil and looked for replacement parts and to replace the warming rack, (3) grates and (4) Flame tamers. The price totaled $168 plus shipping and tax. For a total close to $200. Basically a little less than what i paid for the grill. Just for a few inside parts NOT including the burners or the rusted drip pan...
