I installed both the Broan Comfort-Flo (12 in. 1500-Watt Wall Heater, 750/1500W 120VAC,1125W 208VAC, 1500W 240 VAC) and the another heater and will compare. Broan is nice because it is multi-wattage/voltage while the other is single voltage/wattage. I'm using the 120v/750W mode and it heats the bedroom nicely. The Broan is at least 3x as noisy vs. the other. Broan is good for bath or bed (if you can sleep through it-we're getting use to it). For the price, the broan is good. I will put more Broan's into the bath. I liked the Broan because it's a horizontal heater and more modern looking and doesn't extend from the wall much. Very easy to install. We also use external thermostats for better control.

Bought this heater for a basement bathroom that was already finnished. I made it work, but this heater is made to be installed before the drywall is installed to be able to connect the opposite end of the heater to either the left or right hand stud. If you are installing in a finnished wall you can only attach it to one stud. The cross bar that slides into the top to connect to the other stud can't be used. Other than that the heater works just fine.

This unit has a build in thermostat and for the doit your self weekend warrior is easy to install. I'm running mine on 110 v as a secondary source of heat in a small bedroom. It only comes on as needed and does the job intended. The price is right for a unit that is self contained.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dmm3814 Excellent wall-mounted bathroom heater
The heater was easy to install and great for the price. The only two issues that I have with the heater are: 1) The knob is cheap plastic and will probably break after a little bit of use and 2) it does not have an on/off switch. It has a knob to adjust the temperature but no on/off switch. I suspect that the heater probably will not cycle on in the lowest setting unless it is near freezing. However, I would still feel more comfortable leaving the house knowing that the heater is off. I would recommend installing a light switch to control the heater when you install the heater. The heater does have to be wired.

Bought this heater at Home Depot and it was shipped to my home in a timely fashion. Other reviews said it couldn't be installed in a finished wall. WRONG. I did it and I am an average handy guy with some tools and creative mind. First u take off the metal mounting bracket at the top. Easy to come off with needle nose pliers. Measure 3 2x4 to length to frame. Cut 1 inch off the width of them. Angle the 3 inch construction screws and install in a box frame. Was easy. Is solid mount with no vibration. Super quite and easy to wire. My wife loves it in the morning when getting ready after a shower. I sleep right thru her getting ready due to no fan vibration / noise. Heats a 300 sq feet bathroom easily. Totally impressed. Great price, looks great, easy to use, and quality built product. Love it.

Bought a house with a non-working wall heater in the bathroom of an older section of the house. I was so happy to find this, the same make and model still available. It shipped very fast. It warms the room nicely. As you set it to temperature you want and then it kicks on and off automatically, I may unplug it in the summer even thought it is hard wired. If you remove the front, you can unplug from power source internally, which is nice. Overall, very happy with the unit.

Not too difficult to install. Had to convert to 240 which was easy. Materials are sooo flimsy though. The heater it replaced (from the 60's) was all heavy metal and solid. What isn't plastic on this is very flimsy tin. Came right on after I flipped the breaker back on but won't give it a work out until winter hits. Going to use it to heat the bathroom. Having said all the negative, I'll probably get another for my bedroom since finding a size to fit in my older house is near impossible. I have high hopes the little things will prove me wrong and last and last and... :-)

Installed in my remodeled bathroom, took out my old radiator to save room. Haven't had to use it yet as it is warming up now, but it does work and put off a good amount of heat when I tested it. I don't anticipate any issues with performance, it is not overly noisy, but living in NY I have a higher tolerance for noise. Some reviews said it was too noisy, I don't think it is that bad. I installed it with a switch as the unit only is regulated by a thermostat, I prefer knowing I can turn it off if I want. All in all, it was easy to install, looks, and functions well. I recommend this heater.
