For the value minded contractor (I am a flipper), this is a decent value. Goes together fairly easily, but having to add the straps is obnoxious...they should just be installed at the factory. I have bought several of these. This particular one had a cracked globe I have to take back. And the globes on the fixture when you get it up are NEVER straight...they all sit at different heights. So if you are looking for a fixture to go in your dining room at your "forever dream home", this is not for you. If you are a contractor looking for a light that will work in a low end home for a cheap price, this will work. But don't expect it to look like a million bucks when it only costs 99. If the globes sat evenly, I would give it a 4 star rating.

These were not the easiest for us to install, and two to three of the three we installed, ended up being crooked. This was because that the arms on the things were malformed, probably at the manufacturing facility. In our experience, they are difficult to adjust. If I recall right, the instructions may have been a bit lacking, too.
Honestly, I was embarrassed by their appearance right after we installed them. They also seem to develop shorts on occasion and burn out bulbs much faster than we'd like. Had we known about these problems before we had purchased and installed them, we'd have spent a little more money and gotten better quality ones. In our experience, these things are mostly junk -- you get what you pay for. Looking to send these off to the landfill and get better ones. I'd be embarrassed to donate these to a Habitat for Humanity ReStore or similar home improvement thrift shop. They belong in China where they're made, not junking up our stores and landfills.
Please, do yourself a favor: shop around for a better product. These are junk.

For the price it is just stunning.
Our previous chandelier was from the 1990's so this was a beautiful upgrade for not a lot of money

We bought 2 of these chandeliers. One with 3 lights and 1 with 5 lights. One for my kitchen dining with 3 lights and the other for our formal dining. They look elegant and not too fancy. Just what I wanted!! The price was great, and we get so many compliments. My husband installed both of these within an hour. Nice quality. Would recommend!!

I have been on the fence about purchasing this item for some time. Finally I jumped off the fence and made the purchase. So glad I did. My home was built in 1930 and has all the original wood beams and molding in the dinning room. I didn't want anything too modern or too traditional and this chandelier fits in perfectly.

This is the third in the same series of lights we have purchased and installed in our home to replace the contractor special brass lights. This chandelier compliments the 3 light entry hall light and the 2 light semi-flush mount light. If the rustic style is what you're looking for you can't beat the price for the style you're getting. We looked at fixtures costing 2,3 even 4 times this amount and didn't find better style and value.
Installation is best done with two people. We paired it with 60 watt bulbs and a dimmer switch to make it more versatile. If considering doing the same go with the Lutron C-L dimmer which handles single pole or 3-way switching, works with dimmable LEDs/CFLs, halogens and incandescents. This way you only have to buy one dimmer for any bulb you use!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chris Nice simple chandelier, we just didn't like the color
The matte black tends to accumulate dust over time and we just didn't like the finish on it. It was hard to clean. We took it back down after 6 months used Rustoleum antique bronze spray paint to re-do the finish and it looks awesome now! The texture and the finish look great. It makes it look more "rich". And it is still a very dark color, not too brown. Also, I think it matches the amber glass shades better. It was an inexpensive way to make to make an upgrade to a fixture that we mostly liked without having to buy a new one.
