Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by circuit braker hard to find circuit breaker. went to several stores before trying Home Depot on line. Good quality. September 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Got the job Done! Last year I had a 60 amp breaker that needed replaced. An electrician came out and did the work, and ended up costing hundreds of dollars, and worse, took WEEKS. It took them weeks because they claimed they were unable to get the breaker or the part to do the job. Well, now the breaker my AC Condenser is on kept tripping. I was getting ready to call an elecrician but the bad taste of the last experience was still strong in my mouth. I did some research and was able to determine this is the type of breaker I needed. The replacement was easy, taking less than ten minutes. I saved myself hundreds of dollars, and weeks of waiting for a professional to get some obscure hard to find part, which wasn't even hard to find! Just look down the street at Home Depot! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Replacement for Zinsco circuit breaker This breaker was purchaced to replace an original (circa 1963) Zinsco 30 amp model that was to be upgraded to a 40 amp circuit. The breaker fucntions properly and has the same overall dimensions as the original except for the depth. This breaker sticks out of the panel far enough that I can no longer put on the face plate for the breaker box. I had to build a framed door to cover the box which was a little inconvenient but actually looks nicer than the old painted cover. Overall the product is as advertised but be aware that it will stick out another 3/16" or so. May 29, 2006
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Zinsco Breaker The difference between this and the original Zinsco breaker is that the original one is rated for Cu-Alu. If you will be installing this breaker in a older home that has a panel with aluminum wiring be careful to treat the wire with some type of Penetrox type grease. October 31, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Found the hard to find Zinsco breaker at Home Depot These old Zinsco breakers can't be found at your local electrical supply store but Home Depot has a good selection in stock. Thanks HD, you saved me from a costly breaker box replacement! November 13, 2012
