Great versitility with 3 sizes of bowls. Surpirsing quiet powerful motor. Love that it "seals" so you can use it for soups and other liquids without spillage. Great power for dough making.
I was a little surprised at it's large size but it makes sense that going from my prior 7 cup to 14 cup food processor would mean that it was bigger. ;-) It is well worth the counterspace.
Love the storage box for the blades. It keeps things organized and is much safer than storing it all in a drawer.
It is a high end item and seems pricey compared to others but in this case you are definately getting what you pay for.

This food processor is great for the serious home cooking professional. In the past, I have tended to stay away from food processors because I preferred the old fashioned way to do things. Then as my family grew, and the things I wanted to prepare and try out expanded I realized that sometimes a machine can really do the same or better job without all the hard work. All of my appliances are heavy duty or commercial grade. I don't believe in buying something cheap just to replace it 6 months later. I use all of the appliances I have often and they really get a workout, so with that in mind, I set out to find a food processor that could stand up to the use I was planning on giving it. After long and hard searhing, I settling in the the Cuisinart Elite 14 cup Food Processor. It had the biggest motor (1000 Watts - Almost 1.3 horsepower), Interchanable bowls, lots of blades and processing options and a great warranty and excellent reviews from other sites. Other Food processors had smaller motors which from the experience using my kitchenAid mixer and burning out several motors over time, I realized that I needed something more powerful. I liked the fact that it was die cast as well which makes it a lot more durable.
Well, right out of the box I used it to process fresh pumpkin for pumpkin pie - a task that most machines can't hold up to. Well, it performed without even putting up a fight. The pumpkin processed in a little over 10 minutes and I process 2 large pumpkins and it didn't even think it was working. I followed this with making salsa, mayonaise, then used it to make bread. It did an awesome job. I was impressed.
My recommendation: I would recommend this product to anyone who is serious about the way they prepare their food. It's rugged, durable, easy to use, comes with a great warranty - Which I doubt you'll need to take advantage of, it's easy to clean, has a lot of options and is compact and powerful.
Great product for the serious home chef.
