Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by twinstar This is a good product overall but the chopping feature is so-so
This processor does what it says it does BUT, the chopping feature can be better for high-density items such as meat. I chopped three different kinds (raw and cooked) and the end results was that some meat came out mushy and others were not even chopped. I even stirred it between pulsing to make sure everything was even. Same with vegetables... chopping was uneven and I even made sure the size was the same before putting them in the machine. Grinding meat, however, was great. Fast and easy! Cleaning was a breeze also... just stuck it in the dish washer and it was done!
Haven't used the other tools so can't comment on those

I have a large Cuisinart and got this one for my son for Christmas. He is single and just starting to get into cooking. The size is great and I like that it has the chute attachment. The slice and shredder blades are all he needs along with the basic shopper blade. Since he just got it, it hasn't had much use yet but I am hoping that as it is Cuisinart it holds up to the Cuisinart reputation. I really think I may get one for myself!

I had a larger cuisinart for 20 years but I live in my motor home full time now and I wanted something smaller. So far so good. I didn't realize the feed tube would be smaller. Duh! So if I use the slicing blade for an onion, cucumber, whatever, it must be cut to fit the feed tube. Well, OK, I can deal with that although the results are not perfect rounds, but slices of quartered cucumber, or whatever you use. I made cucumber, red onion, dill salad and hummus so far. Both things have turned out fine although the cucumber salad wasn't as pretty I think but it tasted fine. I got this model because it has a grater/slicing blade and a chute for larger quantities if needed. I tried the chute and I think I'll have to use it more to get the hang of it. The machine feels well built and sturdy. No walking across the counter under load so far. I got a better price here thane as there was a promotion and I'm happy with that.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DLrrhs2010 The Cuisinart HandiPrep was exactly what I was looking for.
I was very pleased to find, after extensive online search, that I could get the HandiPrep from Home Depot - and I hit a sale, too!
The product was exactly as expected and was delivered promptly.
On first use, it fulfilled my expectations, and then some.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by me0217 Great small food processor
Love this food processor - small enough to grab and use for any shredding, dicing or slicing job - love the chute so I can processor any amount of food without having to stop.

Far superior to the simple mini-choppers. Good quality appliance. We put it thru all functions and it works very well. You just have to follow the instructions and remember this isn't a full sized food processor and respect its limits.

Unless you are preparing food for a large family or work in a restaurant, this is the right size appliance for everyday use. I especially like the attachments that come with the machine and ease of cleaning.
