Answer:
Step 1. Avoid this grout like the plague it is! 2. Normal grout haze removal products don't work. The residue is latex based, not cementious. 3. A latex paint remover works the best. Be prepared for another obnoxious chemical odor, and be super careful around carpet and painted surfaces, good luck.

This is a great product and it appears you didn't clean the surface sufficiently. Try Aqua Mix® Grout Haze Clean-Up, make sure you test it before applying. In the future, Fusion Pro drys quickly, make sure you wipe all excess.

Hydrochloric acid is usually sold in low concentration as muriatic acid. It will usually take off all kinds of grout haze , given enough time.

Hello Leanna. Very sorry for the situation with the grout, actually I was asked to answer due a review I posted about this product, I am a pro, I have had the same situation with the product, I'm guessing you waited too long to clean it, anyway 5 minutes is enough to get a mess and yes, to have the situation you have, I can not tell, I avoid the product but when used in very little projects I just try to start cleaning right after the application, always with the risk of washing grout away but due the fast curing time, it is the only way, it has a strong chemical that causes what you referred, I would recommend you contact manufacturer in order to find a compatible cleaner capable to remove the stains, don't use it again, in my pro opinion, use conventional grout, wait until totally cured and apply the best sealer you can find.

No. Arrangements need to be made for proper disposal. Keep in mind there will be approximately.8-1.1 gallons of waste water that will stain landscaping, kill vegation, etc..

I plan on grouting 2 different tiling projects about 7 to 10 days apart ... and using the same container of grout. After I open and close the container for Project 1, will the grout harden and become unusable by the time I start Project 2? Both tiling projects will only take 30 minutes to complete.

This is exactly why this product is so useful. You can open the container, grout Project 1, close it completely, and then grout Project 2. You could even do it if these projects were months apart, instead of only 10 days.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It is not your Dad's grout Fusion grout is different. Read and follow the instructions. Start with a very small area and increase as your job allows. Wet the area with a wet sponge just before you start.I used this grout on a backslash with 1"x12" tiles hence a lot of grout joints. I was able to apply grout to 1.5 sq ft at a time. The good news is that it cleans up easily. A microfiber towel is essential. I used a sponge that has a microfiber side since I was working on a vertical surface. The product has only been installed for 2 weeks but I believe it will be durable. I am a little disturbed by the price but I look forward to using this grout again. October 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Two person job I found out quick that placing this grout is a two person job. It sets up quickly and is harder to clean up than regular or two part opoxy. Its best to have one person take a damp sponge and wet the surface, place your grout, and have a second person immediately do normal cleanup with another wet sponge. having a second person working as a team helps it go much faster and cleaner. when doing it yourself you can only go a small space and then you spend the rest of the time doing clean up to avoid the haze it will leave on the tile. other than that, it have turned out good for me. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Turns yellow after a few months Bone grout turned yellow after a few months. Only used customs recommended cleaners on the floor. Customs customer service talks down to their customers and are quick to pass blame. Using the recommended cleaner dissolves the grout into a paste like substance that wipes out of the joints. At first I thought the product was great and recommended it to a few people, but it doesn't last. June 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bath This product works good. No mess or measuring of traditional powder grout. Just scoop out of bucket and spread. Very easy clean up. July 19, 2016

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by grout Not available in stores, Amount was way more than I needed for my bathroom. Product is good. I have used it before. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great time saver First time using this product. Followed instructions, found product dries vary fast and is hard to get off tile. Had to work in smaller sections to make clean-up easier. Looks great, saves a lot of steps. May 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Super easy to use I used this for our kitchen backsplash and it was easy to use! (This was my first time grouting too.) I noticed it worked better if I waited just a few extra minutes than recommended before wiping off the excess with the sponge. It allowed the grout to stick better between the tiles and not come off too as I wiped off the excess. I did use sealant despite product saying not needed--it still needed some to keep the sand from flaking off. Def will use this product again. March 29, 2016
