The writing guidelines suggest that I should avoid mentioning other products. So my brief answer concerning the gallon size of this product is - I hope not. This is simply based on my experience in applying this to a polished dark marble floor. This is simply based on my experience in applying this to a polished dark marble floor. Home Depot does sell another brand that is wonderful - and that does come in a gallon size and I would be glad to share that with you if allowed. If you are going to use this on non polished surfaces it may be fine. A less flippant answer to the gallon size - I just did a very short web search and I really can't find it in anything other than the 24 oz spray bottle. Read Less

Answer:
With most enhancers and sealers, and it is true with this one, you apply it (rub it in with a cloth or sponge) and then wait a fairly short period of time - just five minutes. Then you wipe off all the excess - anything that is still "wet" looking. This excess, if left to dry on it's own, will both look bad and be a pain to remove.

Answer:
Apply liberally using a new mop, paint pad or sponge. Allow to penetrate for up to 5 minutes. Immediately wipe off any sealer completely before it dries. Immediately apply a second coat. Ensure no residue is left to dry on the surface.

I have a mix if glass and stone mosaic tile and need to seal the grout and stone tiles. I was going to use the Stone Sealer and Enhancer. Will the sealer hurt the finish on the glass tile? If so what steps can I do to prevent the hurting the glass tile?

Our tile installer used this sealer on our new shower installation. Will I want to use this same product to maintain a good protective coating on our tile? About how often would I want to apply it? Or is there a different product that is recommended for regular maintenance?

Answer:
we would recommend to maintain your installation with the TileLab Stone Sealer and Enhancer. The expected wear will vary depending on cleaning routines and surface traffic. Please test for porosity prior to applying additional sealer to avoid creating a sealer residue. For further assistance please contact our Care and Maintenance division at 800.272.8786 option 3

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Have had excellent results on outdoor patio stone tables I am a bit surprised at the less than stellar results posted by others. We have a two stone "tile" patio tables which are in the beating California sun for most of the day. After several years the stone was fading quite a bit and looked very weathered. I will admit this product is not used liked "windex" and takes a small bit of elbow grease. However the results are well worth it as this is the second season I have used it and our tables look new again. I have also used it on the stone ledge above our swimming pool. The same fantastic results have been obtained. The only downside that I can speak of is the cost, quite expensive to say the least, July 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it! This is an amazing product! It brought out the color in my multi-colored slate tile amazingly!!! I'm amazed on how much better my screened in porch will look! December 16, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Aweful! Hazy residue all over our backsplash... Run...this is the worst! Anybody know how to get the hazy residue off of our mosaic backsplash? At $15 a mosaic tile, I'd love to improve the appearance and not have to rip it off the wall?!?! January 11, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Please Heed Earlier (Unfortunately Negative) Reviews The title of this review obviously sets the tone. Ok, here's the "crux", so to speak. This product - in my experience - did two things... 1. enhanced the backsplash tile color quite dramatically. no issue there. 2. it caused awful, grotesque, greasy stains. (think of a paper bag after it's been used to carry a pile of freshly fried chicken ... with no interior liner to prevent bleed through) it's item #2 that's the problem, obviously. and i cant' live with the defect. *So*, i'm ripping out several days and evenings worth of work - and restarting. A little painful, but i'm kind of a perfectionist and I just can't live with this. This product is a fail, plain and simple. June 12, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by HORRIBLE, RUN FOR THE HILLS. TERRIBLE STENCH FOR over 2 MONTHS NOW I bought this sealer over 2 months ago and applied EXACTLY as directed on the bottle. Not only was there ZERO "enhancement effect, it left a HORRIBLE Stench in my shower, bedroom, the whole hallway now smells like the product. It's like a vomit smell from a really sleezy bar. The customer service was just as nasty, they won't even offer a suggestion to get rid of the smell. I'm going to file complaints with home depot and with the BBB, products like this should NEVER be sold. September 22, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Expensive horrible product I needed to restore about 1000 square feet of polished marble floor. After I ground the floor down (with a series of diamond pads) I needed to apply an enhancer and sealer. I did not want to dive in with a very expensive gallon or so of anything so I bought a series of smaller containers to try them out first. First, this product "blurts" out of the spray bottle, most of which ends up where you are aiming but much just all over the place, to include trim and walls - so be sure IF you buy this to protect everything in the vicinity. Second - it goes on a thick milky white and when you try to rub it in it leave what looks like greasy swirls. You wait the requisite time and wipe off all the excess which is now more sticky than not and it leaves - more greasy looking swirls. Then it then dries that way. It did somewhat "enhance" (darken) the marble but it was far from a professional look. I tried a sister product from Tilelab (Gloss Sealer and Finish) that scored just slightly higher in looks but this did not "enhance" the marble and still left greasy looking swirls. The winner by far in my little test was "Aqua Mix Enrich and Seal" It was VERY easy to apply, very easy to wipe off the excess and left a beautiful rich finish on the entire floor. So - If you must have this product (Tilelab Stone Sealer and Enhancer) - don't buy it, I'll send you mine just to get rid of it {I notice in "the terms" that I cannot mention other products. If I should not mention either the Aqua Mix or second Tilelab product - both available at home depot it would be fine to omit "The winner by far.....(and all after)}. November 18, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Run as fast as you can from this product!!!!! We had a brand new $6000 Honed absolute black granite counter installed. We wanted to seal and enhance. We made a horrible mistake and chose this product!!! Whatever you do , do not buy this PRODUCT!!! It leaves a filmy greasy mess and requires hours of work just to remove!!! If you are reading this and have made the same mistake wipe it off as fast as you can with mineral spirits and then wash with a mild detergent. We are not 100% back to normal but at least this product is off the surface of our stone. I cannot even imagine that this can be sold!!! We have advised Home Depot to remove from their shelves. Hopefully they will do so. March 22, 2015
