Answer:
Yes it will. I'm not sure why DeWalt's literature says the stand is only for the DW745, unless perhaps the DW7480 is a more recent model with the same frame and base as the DW745, and DeWalt hasn't yet updated its consumer information.

Answer:
Yes it does. When folded it takes up about 22" wide by 33 -1/2" high and maybe 3 inches deep. Also I am suggesting, if you want portability, throwing away the bolts they include for fastening the saw to the stand, and get the spring pins like I bought (see pictures).

Answer:
No. Height is set. I suppose you could build secure wooden blocks to put under the legs but they could not be very tall and must be carefully designed so as to not introduce any instability.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 74 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Table saw stand Great stand, easy to set up. I purchased 4 hitch pins to replace the 4 bolts that hold the table saw in place. This is much quicker if you need to set up and tear down often. September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stand for my DeWalt Saw Great stand for my Dewalt table saw. Although advertised for the DW745 model, this stand is perfectly compatible with my DWE7480. Like others, I highly recommend you purchase the Everbuilt locking pins for use in securing your saw to the stand. I also found that I could put my Dewalt Mitre saw on top of the mounted table saw for quick, non-bulky cuts. Everbilt 1/4 in. x 2 in. Zinc-Plated Round Head Wire Lock Pin Model# 807468 August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome portable stand I install custom window and door packages in existing homes and this stand hold the Dewalt compact table saw at a great height, as well as securely. August 3, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Throw out the bolts, get yourself some removable pins I am a remodeling contractor and bought a new Dewalt small table saw and this stand to go with it. It's a pretty nice stand, fairly heavy duty although not industrial strength. And it will fold and be portable enough to go in my trailer and set up quickly when I need to rip one piece for a small job. But I would say a design flaw is that they included nuts, bolts, and washer to attach the saw to the stand. This would require wrenching four bolts on and off every time you set the saw up. So I bought four 1/4" x 2" removable pins to replace the threaded bolts (see pictures). I think this will make the whole operation easier. September 17, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Solid, but... The stand is sturdy and solid. Price is right. Problem is unlike the the older saws that had tabs that held the saw into the stand this one has to be bolted to the saw. Now that's a major inconvienience for in and out jobsite work. I picked up stainless steel bolts and wing nuts to make that process a bit easier. I don't have room for the bigger stand set June 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Totally fits DW7450 10" table saw Yes, it fits new and older 10" table saws. Not sure why it says on the box "use only with DW745" Stupid June 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Portable saw stand This stand is so short you need some type of elevated surface to set it on or else work on your knees. I returned mine. June 24, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A back saver This is a God send on reducing lower back pain from bending over all the time. Nice that it folds up & stores easily too. I agree w/ other reviewers re: the bolting issue. Takes too much time. Dewalt has to solve that prob. Still worth it tho. I give it 4 stars not 5 because of that + the $63 price tag. April 12, 2016
