15 Amp 12 in. Double Bevel Sliding Miter Saw is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 44.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Arbor size FYI I'm the tool repair guy for a large industrial woodworking facility. The arbor size on all Dewalt and most other brands is 5/8 by default and they come with a spacer so you use a standard 12" OD blade with a 1 inch arbor is used. As long as you remember to keep it on the saw during blade changes you are set. If you prefer to peen them into the blade or lose it replacements are available at minimal cost--a few buck each These things run years in our crating areas with with minimal care--a pair of brushes are all that the average user would ever need to make it last a lifetime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from intelligent design mine was dead accurate right out of the box. all controls are well thought out and easy to use. quality seems top notch. handy storage for blade wrench was a nice touch. only used it one day, and trimmed out a bathroom. can't say one bad thing about this saw. hope it holds up well and lasts. seems well built. only thing I changed was the blade. installed a diablo 80 tooth blade. very clean cuts. some reviewers didn't like the arbor adapter for the 5/8" to 1" blade hole, but it was very simple to use and worked well. seriously, no complaints with this saw.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent product with consistent cuts The miter saw was up and running in minutes. The cuts were perfectly square right out of the box. Would have liked to have a dial adjustment like the Milwaukee that I have but other than that the saw has exceeded expectations. With 26 years as an interior trim carpenter I can say that if you want to produce a quality job this saw is more than capable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Saw By the way the specs say that this is a 5/8" arbor- I have never found a 12" x 5/8" arbor blade. maybe they exist but I haven't seen one.On the box it says it uses 5/8" OR 1" arbor blades. That's great except it does have a spacer/ washer, that can be lost. The good side is a 10" 5/8" arbor table saw blade can be used in a bind. DP

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful Saw and Great Value I'm a rookie when it comes to Miter Saws I needed one to put down laminate flooring. I did my research and looked at reviews for me it came down to a Dewalt DWS782 or a Hitachi C12RSH. I looked at both saws in the stores. When I looked at the Hitachi it was too heavy and I did not like that it had too much plastic parts. It also cost more and I did not like the way the Operating Handle was setup. It looked like a good saw plus it had a laser has the same power as the Dewalt. When I looked at the Dewalt it just felt better with the Operating Handle and the weight. It did not have a laser but that was not a big deal to me I just want it to be accurate on cuts and last a long time. Also it was on sale so I end up take the Dewalt saw and a stand to match. It was the best decision I made. I started using it to make cuts on the floor and it had no problems it cut square out of the box. Being a rookie to Miter Saw this saw has good power to it and it's easy to use. Even my father-in-law was impress with this saw and he is hard to please. Next I'm going to use it to cut crown molding. I highly suggest to get it while on sale it worth it if you can go without a laser.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesoem saw for the price This saw was $200 cheaper than its counter part and the only thing i see missing is the laser which I can definitely do without at the savings. Buy it if you can.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good budget yellow saw I have lots of experience with the dws780 and the older dws710? Anyways this saw at $399 is a steal, yes there is no led light. But we all grew up without them anyways.. All in all it's a quiet, excellent saw and was square out I the box
