This product will power all of the air tools that will be used by the typical homeowver with no problems. I have used it with nail guns, staplers, and impact wrenches as well as to inflate large truck and car tires, basketballs and footballs, air mattresses and all those other things you hate to do!!!
I have had several of the cheaper homeowner models in the past and they don't even close to what this one can do. Don't waste your money on the throw away models which only last a couple of years and get this one which will probably be the last one you will ever need to buy!!!

I am a finish carpenter and homeowner. I like the machine for it's light weight and portability. It has worked fine for me so far (1 year later), BUT as another poster has noted, running two guns simultaneously is a dubious claim. It cycles quite a bit with one finish nailer - and I believe is not even recommended as a framing nailer. The second port is useful for running a separate tool, but not at the same time. I've used several compressors and although marketed as being quieter I don't notice much/any difference. Having said that, I think next time I would go for at least a 4 gallon unit for professional demands.

This product is well capable of running our 2x18ga nailers simultaneously we have not tried 16ga nailers as we dont use them we have used this compressor every weekday for 3 years minor repairs here and there on the compressor to much dust and does not have an air filter so we took it apart twice after constant use and just wiped and sprayed the dust out of the system and it works fine again. We are very happy with the purchase and so we bought a second one to replace it after those 3 years it finaly ended in my experience if you maintain it well that means draining the tank every day of air and condensation and other routine maintenance it works well. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. They are sent with the compressor for a reason.

As a finisher I really don't have any negatives about this compressor.
Soft start works well and doesn't blow breakers. Not very loud when you compare it to others I have used. Lite weight and very portable and roll cage is very good ...no broken parts to speak of.
Capacity is great. Runs my guns without running low on pressure...recovery is very quick. Keep in mind that high-end nailers (I use Omer) use less air from what I seen.
I think it would keep up with two 18/21 gauge brad nailers.
Good product so far....would recommend.

It Is an awesome product that can keep up with the high demand home owner. It can power any tool necessary to get the job done. The only negative thing about it is that when using it to fill tires in a vehicle it you need to wait because the tank is small. Overall it is worth the money and will last a long time if taken care of properly.

Unit was purchased as a very portable, light duty compressor. Has done this well. If you need a more than light duty cycle or minimal air volume, step up to a larger unit. The design and construcition of this unit are not industrial grade. If your income depends on an air compressor, buy somthing larger.

This thing is quiet compared to other models out there. Great for tire pump ups, brad nailers, and quick projects.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Timbeau Excellent Compact Compressor
I am a homeowner who undertakes serious, professional-grade renovations and occasional zero-base projects (rec rooms etc) that require a reliable and portable compressor.
Since purchasing this unit at Home Depot in the spring it has performed with aplomb and I could not be more satisfied. While not large enough for professional heavy-duty contractor use, it has more than enough power to meet the needs of smaller scale users like myself undertaking most home improvement projects.
The unit is easy to carry and store, runs relatively quietly and has a quality feel about it.
As I often use 18 gage and 23 gage nailers at the same time when undertaking finishing work, not having to switch units back and forth is a nice convenience.
All in all this is a dandy unit that I would highly recommend to others.
