Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rick On/Off switch needs to be replaced after moderate use
I have used this die grinder infrequently over the past three or four years (maybe 3-4 times/year). Now it appears that the on/off switch is beginning to fail. I have to tap the grinder against something (while holding the switch in the on position) to get it to turn on. Works fine otherwise & is quite handy. I will probably buy another brand rather than having this one repaired.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Kerry all listed parts are not included
I selected this brand over other similar brands because of the HomeDepot description stating the tool included 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch collets. This was the only one I found with the ¼ AND 1/8 collets. Unfortunately the tool does not include the 1/8 collet. This is an error on the HomeDepot web site description. The 1/8 collet is available from DeWalt for an additional fee.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Shopmam4513 Good for moderate to heavy use.
Good die grinder for moderate to heavy use, but not too heavy. Extended continuous use should be avoided, or unit heats up. 10 to 15 minutes max use before letting unit cool. Very good for moderate duty jobs like removing paint or cutting small bolts. Light weight enough to use several times a day with out feeling you used most of the day.

This is a good product if you don't have access to air. I am a welder for 30 + years and most hobbiest don't know about this product because they don't sell it on the shelf. But this is an excellent tool for around the home for projects in the garage.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WB67 Dewalt die grinder
Grinder has plenty of power to deburr and grind welds which is what I will use it for the most. Have only used the tool 3 or 4 times but so far the results are what I had expected and why I spent the money to buy a Dewalt . Have a portable drill that has plenty of power and that is why I bought the grinder.

I's a die grinder. It does what we need it to do adequately.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by liontool Spindle heats up quickly, too hot to hold.
The grip over the spindle gets too hot to hold after only a minute of continuous use. Need to use gloves or keep switching hands on grip.
