I have used less than a 1 LB box of screws and it is still in great shape . I don't know how long it will take to round the screw tip but this is great if you just have 1 room to drywall with a drill and don't want to spend the money for a quality screw gun. just what I needed

Was easy to use and did its job fine. Only complaint I have is that they round out after about a days work.

I purchased these drywall screw setters thinking that they would make my life easier. They did not. Although they drive the screw slightly below the surface of the drywall, I felt that they should have gone slightly deeper. I tried different thread drywall screws and various driving speeds and the result was the same. I am worried about the screw heads rusting and bleeding through. I still use my cordless drill to set the screws a little deeper.

I used these to put up the drywall in my basement, walls and ceiling. I am a do it yourself homeowner and I felt like these worked great. Like most things there is a little learning curve you have to get over - how much pressure to use etc.. If you do not keep the screw perpendicular to the wall then this product will not set it - the collar hits the wall on one side and will disengage the driver to early to set the screw. I feel like I set a lot of screws and I had no issues with the drivers wearing out.

They didn't penetrate as well and wore out pretty quick

... but after reading other amazingly and consistently positive reviews (at least from folks who had enough coordination to keep a screw straight prior to driving) I decided to try it (them).
Worked excellent in my Makita 18volt cordless drill. 1st bit still worked fine after 8 drywall sheets screwed into Douglas Fir (not soft pine).
