Answer:
Uses standard 0.45" diameter glue sticks. I use 10" long sticks, but I have seen shorter or longer. The 10" x 0.45" are commonly available.

Answer:
The MFR recommends .450 diameter sticks, HD sells the Stanley .450 x 10" glue sticks and by personal experience I have found no .450 diameter glue stick worked very well but instead something that is .430 diameter x 4" or 6" lengths work perfect, and the gun does too. You will need to go to another store to find the proper glue sticks.

Answer:
There is only one temp setting (380 F) which you get by plugging it in.
There is no switch to change the temperature.
And the power rating is 70W, according to the instruction leaflet.
The specs stated on the HD webpage say "50W".

I don't think so. It looks like it screws out, but Dewalt doesn't offer any other tips.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flawed Product, needs to be redesigned. This glue gun seemed really sturdy, and I was very pleased with it when I first bought it. Unfortunately, it has two major flaws which seem to be rampant within the model. Firstly, it doesn't get as hot as you would expect. It seemed to have a very hard time melting the glue sticks that are recommended for it, and even then it didn't melt it all the way. Secondly, the unit's design does not feed the glue stick into the melting chamber properly. I started using this product the day I bought it. I let it heat up for about 15 minutes and it worked fine the first time. Several days later, I went to use it again and followed the same process, but found that it had started malfunctioning. I had to use my thumb to push the glue through the gun. I hadn't even managed to get halfway through the first glue stick when I gave up. What a waste.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get the right glue sticks I know there are a lot of bad reviews about this gun and I do not think the gun itself is the problem, when I purchased this I bought the Stanley 10" glue sticks ,450 diameter that were sitting right next to it as I am thinking a lot of people have done. The gun worked for a minute with those sticks and I started having the same issues other people were having, I combed the internet for a solution and then I even took apart the gun to see if something was out of whack and I couldn't find an answer to my problem. I was about to return this to HD for a refund and write this off as my first DeWalt disappointment when my wife says "why don't you try one of my glue sticks?" So I did and I used a sure bond 4"x.430 diameter stick and the gun worked flawlessly. I have been using the .430 x 4" or 6" length glue sticks of different brands for about 6 months now and this gun has preformed flawlessly and has been very reliable for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't stand up to the name DeWalt Excited to see a DeWalt glue gun so I had to have it... Been using it, heats up quick, however the trigger is useless. Work great for a bit then the trigger slips. Have had to push the glue stick with my thumb.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works just fine Not sure why there is bad reviews. This product is supposed to heat and dispense hot glue. Thats what it does. Enough said.
