Customer Questions & Answers

Does it delay the fan to allow the pump to soak the pads?

Most switches turn the pump on for a few minutes before turning on the fan. This allows to soak the pad before blowing air. Does this switch do that? If so, how long does the pump run before the fan turns on?
Asked by: evapguy
I have one of these already installed and yes, select Pump Only to just pump water to the pad without running the fan. When you are ready, then turn to the dial to the desired Fan setting.

Right now I have one switch (light switch) that turns on the cooler. It all goes only on or off with the switch. Does installing this switch alone allow me to have all those options or does something have to be connected at the cooler motor and pump end of it?
Asked by: DB
No, you need to get 5 wire cable and wire to specifications.

? canI' get instructions to install this switch

no manual was provided
Asked by: bill
TURN OFF BRAKER FIRST AND TEST NO POWER then take the switch off the wall, take the new switch next to it, and then do one wire at a time (in the same place) and then reinstall the switch onto the wall. Turn the BRAKER back on and you should be good to go.

Eventually the knob got lost and it was time to replace the switch. I was pleased to see that they made changes in the knob and it is secure. No worries about it falling off again.

The wall next to the switch was getting hot I said that's not good. So I got a new switch and now the motor ramps right up. So much better and safer. I should have done that a long time ago.
