I have bought many knee pads over the years and have always bougjt cheap ones. These wore out twice as fast as the $6 ones from Harbor Freight. I am so displeased with how the padding mashes into the bottom portion and leaves you knealing on nothing but plastic. I would not recomend these for any serious support.
Also, the plastic/rubber is very sharp and digs into your legs. Terrible design.

Both yes and no! After two hours, visible moisture built-up under the transparent blue material. After six hours, my knees were thoroughly soaked from sweat and my skin was getting irritated, and I had to swap out the knee pads with another brand. I have no recommendations to an available knee pad that doesn't sweat, doesn't slip, nor doesn't cause irritation behind the knee cap. ....perhaps only a few hours of comfort is to be expected with any knee pad. ....still searching!

I've been using the Husky version of this knee pad for almost 6 years, but my local HD store was out, so thought I'd try these, They are gel pads, cost the same, but are not the same quality at all. The outer plastic shell is stiff and doesn't conform at all. The shell digs into my knees and the straps have tiny round holes for adjustment. I'm getting another pair of the Husky brand, they ARE worth the money. These are junk. Who needs a lifetime guarantee on a $20 item anyway???

I too used to use the Husky brand, but was forced to buy these when I couldn't get the Husky's anymore. These do not fit the same and slide all over my knees and the worst thing is I've used them for two weeks and 2 of the straps have ripped out and 1 more is getting ready to let go. I think the maker (China ?) might want to wonder why they make a kneepad that far outlasts the straps that hold them on. They are going back tomorrow.
