CG's Wife here. I chose a Delta Amaya towel bar set to replace a set of Glacier Bay or Hampton Bay during a recent bathroom remodel. I opted to replace the bars because 1) the painters removed the wall brackets and threw them away and 2) the old rods were tarnishing and were difficult to clean. The Amaya bars have curves as opposed to corners and are very nice looking. The Amaya collection looks great with my Delta Tolva faucet and Delta Vero shower hardware.
The installation felt more solid than the previous bars because the Delta brackets have built in springs instead of set screws to attach the bar to the wall. Words of caution about the springs though -- you need some arm strength to push the spring over the top of the bracket. I could see someone accidentally punching a hole in their sheetrock from leaning on it while pushing the bracket. So nice that now I want a new set for the other bathroom!
The only real downside to Delta is that some of us don't really like towel rings and there isn't an 8"-12" bar available in the Amara collection (or any of the other Delta collections that Home Depot carries in store.)

The Delta Amaya Towel Ring in Satin Nickel is very durable. It's made of very sturdy material, and looks wonderful. Very easily installed and an easy way to spruce up my old out-dated bathroom.

The Delta Amaya collection comes in numerous pieces, all meant to be installed concurrently in a bathroom. This review is a combination review for 3 of the Amaya pieces: The towel ring, the toilet paper holder, and the robe hook.
Right off the bat, the included hardware was a sign of a quality product. With each mounting piece came two solid wall anchors, perfect for any drywall application. As luck would have it, however, about 50% of my installations happen to be into the studs. It would have been nice if there were also wood screws included for this purpose.
The spring method of attaching the fixture to the mounting plate is incredibly clever. It removes the need for a hidden hex screw underneath the fixture, and allows attaching of the fixture with a simple snap.
Having a template for the toilet paper holder (and towel rods) as part of the installation manual made the placing and drilling of holes effortless.
QUALITY & DURABILITY
While obviously not solid aluminum, these pieces are incredibly sturdy. The housing not only looks good, but also feels very solid. This is not your cheap aluminum extrusion. These are high quality cast pieces with an amazing finish that complement any existing brushed-nickel hardware in your bathroom.
I've a brushed nickel faucet and this set of bathroom hardware fits in perfectly. The design is sharp, resembling almost a "clawed foot" look with the wrapped bar effect in place. Very regal.
Not only is the set incredibly functional, but adds a very regal brushed-nickel look to the bathroom. Installation was a breeze due to good quality, great anchor design, and included templates. Highly recommended.

The towel ring is made well and the ring itself is thick not thin like others out their. The design is nice and the satin nickel finish goes with any décor. The installation was quick and easy just a few screws that came with the towel ring. I would definitely purchase this towel ring along with the t.p. holder and robe hook. All three would make a nice gift.

This towel ring is very attractive. The quality is excellent, as Delta almost always is. The "Quick Click" makes installation a breeze. Will be installing this again.

I used this to replace the existing cheap chrome towel ring that came with my house when I bought it. Upon removing the old one and comparing the new versus the old I was just stunned. The old chrome one felt like cheap plastic and weight a fraction of the delta one. The delta AMAYA series has done an amazing job of building a solid bathroom series.
The installation was very clearly laid out in the included instruction booklet. The entire AMAYA series uses the same mechanism for locking their accessories into place and it is very convenient because I also have their TP holder and bathrobe hanger. There were two solid anchors that went into the drywall along with the mounting piece. After this was installed the holder to just snap into place without the need to screw in either a standard screw or hex screw at the base.

The required hardware for mounting the ring with its quick click mounting system is included for both drywall and tile. This system leaves no set screw exposed for a flawless look once installed.
Its heavy, a nice heavy. It looks and feels quality in every way.
We also have the robe hook and toilet paper holder and they are of the same quality materials and look..
I expect these will last for years and years and still be great when my wife grows tired of them and makes me change them because she is ready for a new look.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Move14 Attractive design, easy installation
I ordered not only this Delta Amaya towel ring, but also the matching robe hook and toilet paper holder. All three products have an attractive design and - yay! - finally manufacturers have improved on the horrible allen wrench design that caused so much frustration. It was so awkward with previous designs to get the towel bars or toilet paper holders properly mounted, and screwing that tiny screw in with an allen wrench was a total pain. Inevitably, the screw loosened and had to be re-tightened, or the product shimmied enough that eventually it pulled out of the wall and had to be reinstalled. Now, however, Delta has designed a mounting bracket that makes this a pain-free installation process. It is so simple to drill holes for the anchors, screw in the mounting brackets, and click the product onto the brackets. Plus, when I decide to paint the walls in the future, I can pop the product back off, leaving the mounting bracket in place while I paint, and then quickly pop the product back on the bracket once the paint is dry. So easy!
