like the fact that the hose line ain't included. Because if they were, what U will find out. Is that, they are connected to the faucet, not replaceable. An if faucet lines have a leak. U have to get a new one. If U remodify around an cut em, it void the warranty. like how it performs. Easy into it at first when U first turn it out. So U don't get the thumping sound everyone keeps complaining about. Then use regular. No problems here. Happy camper

Bottom line: JUST DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS FAUCET IF YOU DON'T LIKE SPENDING YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON SOMETHING THAT HAS A REPUTATION OF A DEFECT!
All the reviews basically tell my story: I fell in love with the beautiful, simple overall look and feel of this faucet, and was even more thrilled with the price and 4-star rating! But when I bought it I was making a gamble I hadn't planned on.
To my HUGE DISMAY, within a day after installing it (thank goodness I wasn't paying a plumber!), it started making a thump noise and dribbling from the side sprayer nearly every time I used the faucet. I asked my plumber friend about it and he said it's a defect, go exchange it for a new one. I did. I removed the old one, installed the new one and was finally at peace and then less than two weeks later the thump and dribble were back. ARGHHH!!!! I went back to research the reviews again and noticed that almost everyone, no matter what rating they gave the faucet, complained about the issue. It's a manufacturer defect in the diverter valve, and the manufacturer - Delta - won't do anything about it. It can't be fixed nor will they remove it from the shelves. I finally resorted to purchasing a faucet from another maker (third install - what a waste of time!!) that I didn't like the design as well but it's been trouble free - how do you spell relief? MOEN :) Should have paid more close attention to everyone else' complaint - an unresolved defect should always get 1 star in my opinion!

It looks and functions okay but thumps 1-3 times each time the water is turned on. This is a defect. The manufacturer suggested a fix but not instructions for the fix. I don't know how to access the part he wanted us to check. It cost us over $500 to get it installed in the first place so I can't afford to get someone in to repair it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by lenny worst faucet (DELTA) ever purchased
makes a thumbing sound when hot water is turned on. Tried airing line-stopped but
begins again after two or three tries.. went to e-mail and found others had the
same problems with this faucet. was going to return for a different faucet but
too much trouble to take it out..
Very disappointed in this product. They spend millions advertising Delta brand
and the should spend it on upgrading and fixing problems VERY-- disappointed customer

The product feels solid and the finish is smooth and professional looking. The side spray has an easy to attach clip fastener to the water flow. Delta replaced the awful nut and bolt fastener with an easy to tighten and loosen plastic nut, similar to what you find in newer toilet hardware. So no more basin wrench idiocy or dealing with the rusted bolt frustrations when you replace the faucet.
The reason I gave this a 3 instead of a 5 is because there is some sort of manufacturing defect which creates a thudding when you turn on the water quickly. An air pocket must form or something, causing a vibration as it's released. If you turn on the faucet slowly, the problem does not happen. I noticed other reviewers had this same problem. You would've hoped Delta would recall the faulty lot instead of leaving it on shelves.

Delta has produced excellent, reliable faucets. The previous one in this house lasted decades. We changed it only because we changed the sink. It would still be running perfectly. Apparently there has been a defective batch in the new Delta faucets, something about a problem with a valve. It plays out like water hammer. They might have dumped the defective units on Home Depot, and we got one. Apparently Delta replaces the valve. If you're a plumber, no problem. The rest of us simply pay twice: once for the initial install, and again to replace the valve. BTW: I've contacted Delta about this and they have not responded yet.

Installed without removing the Disposal, a little more effort than if new installation, but it went smoothly and is a nice placement for our previous Faucet and sprayer. When the water was turned back, we let it run for the suggested time and it went well and works perfectly.
