Should this occur, you may choose to cut the top track length to match the internal distance of your enclosure side walls. This would result in a slight gap between the ends of the top track and your side walls above the enclosure.
Some contractors use blocking materials and decorative molding rounds to either build out the small area on the side walls to meet the top track prior to installation or to cover the small gap which is left between the top track and the side wall after the shower is installed. Regards, emccollum

Your product specifications for the track and rail package show the length of the top and bottom tracks to be 60 inches yet the specs for the assembled door show a maximum width of 59 & 3/8.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by REGRETTING THIS PURCHASE I would not recommend this tub/shower door to anyone! April 4, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tub door chrome with clear glass The hardest part was setting the holes in the tile to hang the frame. July 7, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cheep handles Didn't even take it home. The handles on these doors are so cheep. It's a shame, because the rest of the product seam to be made so much better. August 9, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Looks nice but leaks The doors look great and operated very smoothly. We are disappointed though that when taking a shower the water splashes out of the the shower and onto the floor. It took me a while to figure out that when showering the water runs down the inside of the doors, hits the bottom guide trough and splashes out under the glass. The bottom trough should have a center dived or some other method to prevent the water from splashing out. The doors are adjusted right so they are as low as they can be but the gap at the bottom still allows water to splash out. I have never seen door do this before. For the cost of these doors Delta should have corrected this defect. March 29, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor design 23 years ago, I installed a tub sliding door when I first bought my house. Now, I am remodeling my bathroom by throwing away the 23 years old tub sliding door and installing a new one. To my surprise, although the price is doubled, the quality is worse. Here are some critical issues not friendly for customers. 1). The Jambs are the most important parts in the entire assembly. It should not be challenging if the design is appropriate. 1st of all, the 5/16 drill for the type of wall anchor for fiberglass tub is way over kill. There are a lot of wall anchors out there, and most common wall anchors only need 3/16 drill size far more than enough to securing the Jambs. The current wall anchor is too hard of a material. One of the screws for the wall anchor already stripped in the head before it bottoms out. Secondly, the jamb is an extruded aluminum with a channel facing to the wall. The channel depth is 1/2" depth to be exact. Because of the hollow channel, overtightening the screw could deform the surface of the channel. Therefore, I purchased 6X 1/2" thick spacers separately from a local hardware store and plan on placing them in the channel behind the screw to prevent the aluminum channel from deforming. However, I could not proceed with my idea because the wall anchor heads are not flush to the wall, but stuck out 1/16". Thirdly, the Jambs and cross members at bottom and on top are aluminum powder coated in black. They are not oil rubbed bronze, not even close to a faked one. I would redesign the Jambs starting out with replacing the wall anchor with smaller diameter ones so that they can be mounted flush to the surface of tub wall if I were the engineer for the tub door. I would add 6 spacers behind the screws in the channel. I would use a little shorter screws for this application. June 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful, except I couldn't get it installed. Your installer wanted more than I paid for the door to install it. Tricky installation for someone who is recovering from an accident. May 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by There is a design flaw in the bottom track for these doors. Don't get them Each door does not sit in its own track. Sort of swings freely. Home depot online game me the number for Delta. Had to get a supervisor and he said they don't do their doors with a bottom track. I have another tub shower door in my own home. I have two separate tracks to keep the doors square as they run the length of the tub. This is apparently a foreign concept to Delta because he challenged me -- said he had never seen doors made like this. I offered to send him a picture. The workaround we are going to try is he is going to send me 3 more of those six inch track pieces. By spacing them appropriately along the width of the tub, this might hold the doors square. These are going in a rental. In my own home, I could handle them gingerly but no good where people bang things around September 6, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Shower-Tub Door The shower-tub enclosure door, came with everything it was supposed to come with, in the cartons! That in itself is a great testimony for Home Depot. If you have ever bought anything that needs assembly or installation, it seems something is always missing. It looked just like the pictures we ordered from on line and the delivery date was actually sooner than promised. The installation went very well except for the unexpected challenge of drilling through the new ceramic tile. I went back to Home Depot for appropriate drill bits, and along with a little patience on my part, got it installed correctly. The only hitch was, being the non mechanic I am, I managed to over tighten one of the screws that hold the roller assembly intact on top of the sliding shower doors. When that stripped out, I was almost done with the project and it really dampened my excitement about how good I had done. I made a call to Home Depot customer service department and was relieved to be able to get another roller assembly coming by mail, and the best part is they did not charge me for the new roller and screws even though it was my fault, not theirs. Thank you for the More than good service! July 21, 2015
