So I purchased 2-12" down rods for the fans I purchased but unfortunately they were 3/4" while the fan requires 1/2". Where can I purchase 1/2" downrods?

Answer:
Hi craig,
Yes, longer down rods can be used on this fan. The longest down rods will require additional electrical wire, but there is enough wire on this fan to accommodate a 24'' downrod.
Thank you for asking,

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice This fan looks beautiful. I did not install it, my contractors did, so I cannot comment on ease of installation. The wired controller switch will require you to purchase a new switchplate to accommodate the control panel. We chose it because it was described as being capable of moving a lot of air. However, I do not think that it has out-performed the old fan that we used to have. The low setting does nothing. Medium is our minimum setting. Our room is 18x20, so within performance range. The controller is hard wired. Description said that there would be a remote control and wall-mounted transmitter, but it is nothing but a more elaborate (wired) switch/control panel. Not too happy about that. August 8, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice looking and good quality Nice looking fan/light combo made of decent quality parts. Instructions lacked slightly, but nothing we couldn't eventually figure out. September 26, 2013
