Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Met Expectations I used it once so far, and this bit did what it was supposed to do. It routed little grooves on the edge of a curved profile in soft pine. The cut was on a curved profile, which means it had to move through varying grain directions (no cross-grain, though) without splintering, and it accomplished that minor feat. It did a good job on this project. But, I can't vouch for how long it will stay sharp or how it would work in a hardwood piece or cross-grain cuts. If it can handle all of those situations, it's worth the $30 price tag. Wood: Yellow pine Mounted: Router table Project: Curved profile work piece December 16, 2010
