First off, I noticed when researching for a laminate flooring blade here on the Home Depot website that many of the Diable blade models are mixed together. This review is for the Diable D1296L 12 inch 96 teeth Laminate/Non-Ferrous circular saw blade. I put this on my DeWalt 12 inch sliding miter saw and the performance has been fantastic. I have completed a family room, two hallways, a closet, and a bedroom at this point with a laminate flooring which has an AC 4 rating. The blade cuts without splinter and is still storeroom sharp after more than 100 cuts. The aluminum oxide top layer on the laminate flooring really needs a blade like this...I used a wood blade on a hand tool for a specialty cut at one point and literally smoked that blade with two small cuts. This blade is a must-have for your laminate flooring project. I do make the cuts with the surface side up and with a full slide on the compound miter saw.

Apparently, you do get what you pay for. A big improvement over the ho-hum blades I have been using till now. The quality of the cut in soft and hard wood is very clean and smooth.

I bought this blade to cut aluminum railing for a deck and stairs. It made very smooth cuts, so no sanding was necessary. It cut accurately with no chatter, it was as if I was cutting wood. It was expensive but worth every penny as I didn't ruin any of this $1,200 railing.
