I believe so - I have it on the CSB144LZ (15AMP) version of your saw. Same chassis just 1 AMP difference in motor. The blade works great.

Answer:
It should work with any 7.25" circular saw, even relatively under-powered saws, due to its thin kerf. Its 5/8" arbor is the standard size for circular saws.

Answer:
Depending on the width of your wood an electrical miter box is the preferred method for cutting tongue and groove. With specialty wood widths wider that six inches you want to use the highest tooth count that will fit your circular saw. Diablo makes a wide selection of blades,10 in. x 60 Tooth and 10 in. x 80 tooth, that fit most miter boxes that are carried at Home Depot.

Hey Ronnie, I wondered about that too! The nice man in the hardware section of Home Depot suggested I go on the Home Depot site and punch in 7 1/4 Diablo Blade in the search bar. It gave a good description of what the different blades do. I do know from experience that more teeth means a finer cut but found out that you can cut almost anything with their selection! Good luck and happy hunting!

Italy, I have never had a problem with any of the blades made there. Rigid Gold circler saw blades "were" made there, now I can't find a Gold blade - so I use Freud

Hi Pet, Yeah, I didn't either. I do know that the parent company is Freud. They are makers of Saw Blades, Router & CNC Bits, Cutterheads, Knives, Inserts and Drilling & Boring Bits. They are serious about what they do, put lots into R&D.

Answer:
Hi, Mike - You will get the best performance and finish from the D0740R. Given the thickness of the material being cut, the 60 tooth blade will cause minor burning or burnishing on the finished edge. The D0740R will have the correct amount of teeth working in the material to generate the best finish.

Answer:
Hey Mike!
1 1/2" should be no problem for either of these blades. I was just in the 3402 store this weekend and the 40 tooth was on an end cap for a good price! The extra 5 bucks would get you the 60. It is just a question if you want the finer cut or not.

Answer:
The 40 tooth will cut the Maple 1 1/2" Butcher Block just fine. A 60 tooth would be likely to heat up, and you could have some burnt edges to clean up. Go at a steady feed, but try to allow the blade to clean as you feed it (I always have my depth set up so I can see the bottom of the gullet at the bottom of the cut) HAPPY SAW DUST !!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Blades I was first exposed to Diablo circular saw blades over 10 years ago and have been running them ever since. High quality, durable, no vibration clean cutting, cuts thru wood smooth as silk. I was lucky enough to find this blade in the 2 pack promo set. I put one of these 40 tooth fine finish blades on my cordless 18 volt brushless Ridgid circular saw to cut some laminate while laying a floor and it did a great job, no chipping just nice clean smooth cuts. If your looking for a high quality blade look no further. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by cutnup I really enjoy he DIABLO blades. A good blade makes all the difference in the world when making precision cuts. I gladly give the blade 5 stars. September 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Life Saver Other blade was dull, it killed my 15 year old Skil saw August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent ripping saw blade Ripping sheets of anything with the blade that came with my plug in circular saw was a test of patience. The saw wanted to walk away from the straight edge and it was difficult for the saw to make the cut. Putting this blade on the same saw was like getting a completely different saw. Cut through materials with little effort and easy to keep on the straight edge. Made cutting 3/4" particle board like cutting butter. February 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent blade with real lasting power This Blade design keeps the temp of the wood down as it slices through it like water. I can rip a board and get a full 6 boards out of a 2x6 where I used to get 5. Adds up really fast! Well worth the little extra money, pays for itself. Not only efficient but holds an edge better than any other I have tried. August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Diablo saw blade. The associate at Home Depot recommended this blade when I told him I was going to be using it on treated lumber. The deck is finished and there seems to be a lot of life left in the blade. It did a great job August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Makes my OK saw an awesome one I never thought a saw blade could make that much difference, but as I get into a little woodworking, it makes all the difference - even on my 20 year old Ryobi circular saw. Compared to buying 10" blades (for my table saw), these are not a bad deal at all. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase I bought this blade for a cut I needed to on a new countertop. I also added some blue tape so the finish wouldn't chip. The combo of the new blade and tape worked like a charm. July 19, 2016
