My job consists of constantly repiping older apartment complexes when the ancient cast iron cracks or the galvanized rusts through. This is the best blade I've found so far for cutting the cast or steel pipes into sections small enough to remove without totally gutting the walls. The length is good for hard to reach areas and also long enough to get through even 4" stacks that are in double walls. They last rather well considering the abuse I give them and cut fast using my 18V Ridgid One Hand Recip saw when power is not readily available. And, the price isn't bad for the durability they offer. The picture is about 1/3 of the amount of the pipes in one bathroom I did on one blade.... and it still had some life left in it the next day.

I was trying to cut through an above ground pool wall - into manageable pieces. I got too much vibration. I thought it would be quick. The 6 in blade worked better for my application.

The Diablo Steel Demon Metal Saw Blades. These are very rugged blades. They are thick enough to keep them from bending easily like a lot of the other metal blades I have used. Very tough, sharp and nine inches long for a better reach. I am impressed with them at such a good price.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mike worked well on 1/8" steel bars.
I needed to cut out some old metal windows from a poured concrete foundation. I had not used Diablo blades before, but will definitely buy again. I expected to use 4 + blades on this job and ended up only using 2. That is with me hitting concrete several times. Keep in mind I don't use blades until they are smooth. If it starts cutting slow, I put in a new one. (aint nobody got time for that)

I run the procurrment of tools and equipment for a Abatement company. We needed to remove 10 gauge steel ( +/- about 1/8") Thick metal windows that were 8 feet tall and 5 foot wide. They were in a bank built in 1930's. The metal channels were filled with concrete on all the stiles and rails as fire proofing. We burned through over 60 of these blades for 16 or so windows. They performed well for the first 5 minutes and then kind of got duller and duller we averaged about 3/5 blades per window plus the use of a deep throated band saw. I would use them again but would like to get some credit back or have been able to buy cheaper in bulk packs which Home Depot does not do on these items.
