Thank you for your inquiry! As it states in Step 10 of the installation manual, DreamLine strongly recommends that the Enigma-X shower door be installed to studs whenever possible. The stainless steel screws that come with the guide rail bracket are very long and should reach your studs, even with the Hardi-backer and green board. If you have any other questions or would like to discuss this further, Read More

Did we install this correctly? The track at the bottom doesn't have an edge for the sliding door. I assume that's what the second edge is for? Does that go on the side of the door? The instructions indicate that's where it goes, however, when it is there and you close the door it wants to bounce against the other door when closing. How do I get it to stop hoping around while closing the door?

Answer:
From the questions you have asked, it sounds as if you may have installed the door incorrectly. There is no track at the bottom of the door. The moving panel slides through the guide block that is installed in the middle of your threshold. There should be a bumper strip along the side of the moving panel that closes against the wall. Do you have the roller guards installed on the moving panel that Read More

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by High quality better than expected Beautiful and high quality. It was difficult to install, must be installed by two proffessional guys. But it looks amazing in my master bathroom. I am very satisfied with my purchase. Highly recommend! June 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by lynapple We had this installed. It is beautiful and shows off the new wall tile nicely. August 10, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by beautiful but.... Beautiful doors, my bathroom looks gorgeous now... but... i wish we would have thought it through a little more, with one stationary door, its so hard to clean the tub and walls now.. I have to literally get inside the tub to clean. Also, we have the stationary door on the left, and that is where our faucet and shower head and controls are!! We actually have to get in the tub to turn it on!! How frustrating! Not sure if thats our fault for not thinking it thru, or a design flaw. Very strange. Glad my kids are older and i'm not giving baths anymore because it would be impossible to give a small child a bath with one stationary door. May 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DreamLine Door on Cast Iron Tub We updated our 40+ year old bathroom and used this door on the new cast iron tub. It did take two installers to do the job. It is definitely heavy! They had no problem drilling into the tub (one bit for porcelain and another for the cast iron). The door looks and glides wonderfully. They sealed with clear calking on the walls and then on the tub. I haven't showered in the bathroom (guest bath) but I would still definitely recommend the door. High quality look and feel. I rated this 3 for ease of installation simply because it took two men and it was heavy. How it compares to an install of a more traditional door is beyond my experience. I am hopefully having this installed in our master bathroom and will let you know more at that time. October 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Glad I chose a frameless door Makes our small bath look spacious. Love the frameless design. June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by EXCELLENT BATH DOOR REALLY GOOD PRODUCT, LOOKS VERY NICE, GIVE TO YOUR BATHROOM TOUCH OF ELEGANCE. May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dreamline door The door is excellent quality and looks beautiful. I would definitely recommend a Dreamline certified installer. My walls were out of plumb and it took 2 certified installers 3 hours to figure the fit and work out the problems. August 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very High Quality Product This is a beautiful, well designed, well engineered product. I mounted this on a cast iron/porcelin tub, used a diamond hole saw to cut the surface, then drilled and tapped into the tub. It was easier than one would think. It is heavy, and a helper is advised.
