Customer Questions & Answers

How long the ramp have to be for going up 32" ? Please help Thank You

Asked by: MIA
Those answers apply only to ramps intended for humans to ride on. A ramp intended only to get a scooter or wheelchair up 32" without a human on board would require maybe 6' or 7'. The EZ Access website has some handy tables to estimate length of ramps.

Handles or no handles?

The additional pictures (down below the main picture) shows handles and the answer to the first question says "no handles". Which is it?
Asked by: cookie1111
There are no handles, just a low bumper edge. I got it for use when I was on one foot and was not able to climb the 2 steps into my house. I was using a walker and the bumper edge did stop that from rolling off the edge.

how wide is top lip on staep

Asked by: andy
The top and bottom lip are both about 3", just a little less than a normal door threshold. There are holes and instructions to permanently mount them to the ground and door threshold if you wish. Mine was for a temporary use and has been in the same place for 4 months with no slippage or movement.

Rental was WAY expensive. This just fit the bill at a very reasonable cost. You it made for use on less steep incline and mine was about 16", which worked out very well with a walker and a cane. It would be a little steep if you need to push yourself up in a wheelchair. I gave it 4 Stars because it can be bouncy in the middle if a heaver person goes up to fast. But it is portable and folds up into an easy to transport and carry size.. and won't take us much storage space.
