This ramp is the best thing I have bought. I use it in my camper on my steps for myself and my dog. We both have bad health and it avoids 2 steps. I should have gotten the 8ft but thought the 7ft was good enough but it still works great. Would only be better if it have a rubber piece to go down the middle to close the small gap.

It was pretty heavy in this length. Well made, but unwieldy when opening and losing. Good in the right circumstance.

The ramp is easy to foldout and use. The ramp is light weight, it is sturdy but I wouldn't recommend going over a 14 inch rise for wheelchairs and walkers.

I bought this for use while we have a disabled niece recuperating with us. It worked very well, unfolded perfectly and fit the situation almost perfectly. I say almost perfectly because it was too short for the ratio of the height to the length. I had to go back and buy a 9' ramp to make the slope less steep and the usage much easier. That was my fault, not the ramps, it worked very well for what it did.

I purchased this ramp when one of my parents was not able to manage the steps to get in & out of the house.
Overall, we are happy w/the quality, but it is awkward to carry.
The handles could be positioned differently to make it easier to fold & move. (when it is folded, the handle is in the middle, not on the outside pieces and that makes it a bit awkward). One feature it does not have that should be considered to build in is wheels for when it is folded. It would make it so much easier to move if, when folded, I could push or drag it like luggage.
It is on the heavy side, so if you aren't able to lift 40+ lbs I recommend setting it up and leaving it in place.

I bought this ramp to get my mother in and out of the house in her wheelchair. I had rented a used 5 ft ramp from a medical supply store with an option to buy at a price greater than this one. The 5 ft ramp was too short for the 18" height and wasn't as sturdy. The 7 ft ramp is perfect. The incline is just the right amount for safe transport. You feel secure traveling down the non-slip surface and it doesn't bow when walking over it. My dad has even driven his Go-go cart up and down it. Excellent product at a very reasonable price.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Maskman Exactly as advertised
This portable ramp is indeed portable, and it is convenient, and it is sturdy. It's well-engineered and does exactly what it claims to do. It is NOT exactly lightweight, but it's portable by one adult - or even one older child - in reasonable physcical condition, but no ramp able to support the weight this ramp capable of supporting is going to be feather-weight. It folds into a remarkably compact package, considering its length and breadth. Price is very reasonable, considering the quality of the ramp.
I would absolutely recommend this ramp for anyone whom needs a cost-effective, sturdy, portable, compact ramp.
