Excellent for my concrete and very good details for every application. Did my research and this sealer was exactly what I needed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Frank Finish looks great
Looks great - really makes the color pop. Make sure you get all the fuzzies off of the roller before applying. Our first coat looked great but wanted a 2nd coat as the edges were a little light. We used a new roller for the second coat and had fuzz everywhere which is difficult to remove. Check online as to how to de-fuzz your roller and you can save yourself the headache. Also very strong solvent smell so wear a respirator.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GG Best product I ever used
Easy to use, smell not offensive. Goes on like water, dries to a super gloss finish, makes concrete look beautiful, almost like its buffed to a shine. I recommended this product to two neighbors, they took one look at my end results and both did theirs as well.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Buzz Gloss Coat Clear Wet Look Solvent-Based Acrylic Concrete Sealer
The Eagle solvent base gloss 25% acrylic sealer was also problematic in many ways. The product literature reads as a “high-gloss coating” when actually after 3 coats shows at best a mat finish on any angle but is crystal clear to the substrate or stained surface. When looked at directly over head, strait down it is not clear at all and definitely not glossy in the least. Homedepot.com web site references the product as “Gloss Coat Clear Wet Look Solvent-Based Acrylic Concrete Sealer”.
Application instructions on the gallon container state to “cross-roll with a pre-wetted roller” but in the tech sheet on line to “dip with each stroke and cross-roll without re-dipping”. "The continual dipping with the first coat gives a heavy application and the cross-rolling allows for an even application." Then it is contradicted by stating to "apply 2 thin coats".
To complicate the application process further, a spread rate of 300 sq ft for smooth-troweled surfaces conflicts with the “dip with each stroke”, “cross roll with a pre-wetted roller”, “apply 2 thin coats” etc. As a professional painter for over 30 years this is the most confusing set of manufacture application instructions I have ever tried to understand.
This Eagle solvent based clear sealer is not even close to what it markets and the user of their product is on their own on how to apply. Tragically Eagle does not have a company 800 call number anywhere and you have to email them to get a phone number to get questions answered. I was told in the first call with a female rep, they did not want to take simple questions from consumers explaining why there is no phone number on their containers. The second call I made to a male rep was cordial and understanding with the misleading product application instructions. After I abandoned 3 attempts with reactive stain and went to water based concrete stain he was quick to blame or be suspect of the water based stain somehow causing the lack of gloss sheen in the sealer as if the fine colorant particles that are stable in the pores of the concrete could migrate up into the clear coat and impact the sheen 3 coats later with complete drying between coats.
The truth is this Eagle Gloss Coat is not a “high-gloss coating” or a “wet look”and is not a good build in 2 coats or even 4 coats in test areas. Additional test showed after 7 coats the build did show fairly glossy but not uniform. If your looking for a high gloss sealer do not use Eagle acrylic gloss sealer. The rep stated “you will not get a high build and deep gloss coat like a urethane or epoxy”. From the marketing and application instructions you are not given that important information until after you have spent the money and time and found out you should have used something else with no way to undo and change clear coat types.
Not sure why I had problems and others didn't but this is my experience in the last few weeks.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beasty Shiny repellant finish
Really love this product. It's easy to apply, makes concrete look stunning, and creates a liquid repellant finish. At least two coats is a must if you want maximum repellency. Please wear a respirator or mask because the fumes are a bit loud. One attached picture shows the finish with two coats. The other picture shows rain water that has been standing for at least three hours with zero soak through.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Transplanted Wonderful Product. Outstanding Results!
We used this product on our back, screened-in porch.
Getting to the point of laying down this sealer required an immense amount of labor.
The final results were all worth it, as our finish is both crystal clear, and smooth.
A strong recommendation is to absolutely ensure that you don't skimp on the labor involved in both neutralizing the acid stain, and your clean water rinsing until no more of the stains color can be picked up by a clean white cloth.
Skimping any of those two processes will more than likely result in this sealer turning whitish in the areas you didn't pay attention to.
How I Did It:
After applying 2 coats of the Eagle Acid Stain, 4-hours apart between coats, I neutralized the acid stain on the floor using ammonia mixed 1 part ammonia to 4 parts water in a bucket with a scrub brush.
Reading through all the reviews, I elected to NOT use the Cleaner Degreaser & Neutralizer product, and instead used the ammonia/water solution. My concrete floor was already clean using the concrete cleaner earlier, so I didn’t see the need to be using a Cleaner Degreaser product.
All I really needed to do at this point was neutralize the acid stain. Using the ammonia solution was way cheaper, and probably more effective.
Once I scrubbed down the floor, I rinsed it off with a garden hose and let it dry. I scrubbed it all down again using the ammonia/water mix, letting it dry, then hosing it off and letting it dry again.
According to the directions and reviews, I had to scrub it down with clean water until a clean, lint free white cloth stopped picking up the stains color.
Let me tell you, this procedure took the better part of a day and a half to finish. I must have used at least 10 buckets of clean water.
I think for about the initial 6 cleanings, I was using a scrub brush followed by moping. The last 4 or 5 buckets I was just using a mop. I was using 2 buckets. One with clean water and the other to ring out the mop with the picked up stain.
Towards the end of the second day, I was at the point where I wasn’t picking up any more stain color. I let it sit overnight.
The next day, I was ready to apply the top coat. I used the Eagle Gloss Coat Clear Wet Look Solvent-Based Acrylic Concrete Sealer in a paint tray with a 3/8” nap roller.
I went alongside the edges and expansion joints with a paint brush, and used the roller for the floor. I worked in small areas at a time, cross rolling to achieve an even application, being careful to not run the roller too fast which would product bubbles.
When I finished the first coat, there were small bubbles on the entire floor however, when it’s drying, the bubbles even themselves out and the surface was smooth by the time it dried.
You can wait as little as 2-hours before putting a second coat on, but I didn’t want anything to screw up, and waited about 4-hours.
The second coat went down easier than the first, and filled in all the remaining voids.
This sealer produces very strong fumes. Using a respirator is highly recommended, even in an outdoor area.
As I’ve mentioned, with all the labor intensive prep work involved in this process, I’m 100% thrilled with the results I achieved.
Now that I’m done, there is nothing I would have done differently.
This stain, and it’s associated sealer is highly recommended.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MsMay825 Great Sealer but that smell is awful
I purchased this product to put a high gloss shine on my concrete stained basement floor. The finish was outstanding, as I did get the high shine result I was looking for. It certainly works as advertised. But that smell permeated the entire house. I've had the windows open all day which is tough in the Georgia heat, but the smell is lingering. What can I do to get rid of that strong odor. Is there another product that will give the same result without the smell???
