Answer:
I am thinking of applying this over a newly stained concrete floor in our dog grooming shop. How slippery is this product if wet? How long before we can set up the salon after applying?

It was never sealed so when you set plastic down it is damp when you pick plastic up. Is this the right sealer for a 20 year old basement floor?

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Made my dyed concrete basement floor pop! Beautiful hard thick protective finish! Almost zero oder. I applied two coats of Eagle Armor Seal with a pump sprayer to my dyed basement concrete floor. I first dyed the floor with Eagle water based dye Root Beer and topped that with Warm Honey. The Eagle Sealer immediately made the color and detail show through beautifully! It left a hard thick seal and protective shine. No indoor oder in home. April 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Concrete sealor Rolls on easy! Great product! I would use this again to seal my concrete July 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good coverage Chose this over less expensive options. Good coverage, easy to apply, dried fast. May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good stuff Very easy to apply with a pad. Was able to coat my garage in a single day. Wait two more days to cure. Will see what the longevity. is. But can clean and apply another coat easily. (Other than moving all my equipment out) January 13, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Looked Good at First I put this sealer on a brand new semi-rough garage floor. I did not etch the concrete before hand. I laid three coates to give it a nice glossy shine with a pump sprayer and roller. Really easy to spray and very little mess. I did not park or place any items on the concrete for a week after applying. Once we started parking on it the coate immediatedly started to peel up where the cars tires go. I would not recommend this product based on price and quality. September 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nice glossy look we found this product to do a really nice job on our stamped concrete walks....the surface was beginning to chip and discolor, so we decided to try restaining and resealing...this did the job nicely, and was easy to install when directions were followed. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great and easy to apply I have used this product several times and have had great results. The product is easy for any beginner to apply and leaves a nice even medium gloss. I also like to use the Eagle Concrete Polish over this sealer as a maintenance coat. I read a previous review about applying this product on a counter top. I am certain that this product is not intended for that use. October 1, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by EASY TO APPLY Armor Seal was certainly easy to apply to my concrete garage floor. The floor had been poured several months prior to sealing and I didn't see the need to etch the floor since there was no previous coating on it and the surface was not extremely polished. I washed the floor with a string mop twice before letting it dry over night and then just before first coating broomed it just to make sure there was nothing on the surface. Armor Seal is very thin so I used the roller type suggested on the instructions. First coat rolled on easily being careful to not leave any puddles of sealer and roll it out evenly. I was able to use the roller to get along the edges so never used a brush for that part. Let it dry overnight and then put on second coat rolling cross direction to the way I put down first coat. Repeated again letting it dry overnight and applied third coat which gave me a nice gloss surface, not cloudy or yellow at all. You could still see and feel some of the texture of the concrete which is good since the coated floor will be slippery if there is any oil or water on it. Clean up roller after use with water and use several more times with no problem. The 5 Gal container covered my 600 Sq/Ft floor with 3 coats and I still have some left. The durability and life of this product remains to be seen but so far it was great!! June 17, 2014
