Purchased Energizer rechargeable batteries (4 pack w/charger)
I should have checked the "mAh" rating for the batteries I purchased.
mAh -"Milliamp Hours. A unit for measuring electric power over time. mAh is commonly used to describe the total amount of energy a battery can store at one time."
All the rechargeable batteries I've purchased before rated at "2300". The ones I purchased at Home Depot were "1300".
I should have checked before I purchased but I assumed that Home Depot would carry the more "heavy duty" products. Won't assume anymore when I shop there!

Rated 1 out of 5Â by DisgustedinPA Energizer Value Charger is No Value
The Energizer Value Charger is No Value based on my personal experience. The batteries that came with the charger worked the first time they were charged, but after only a couple of very brief recharged usage times, the "Value" Charger would not recharge the batteries at all. The red light would come on when the batteries were inserted. After a while, the green light would come on, but when the batteries were removed for usage, they were not charged. I have used Energizer products for many years. I am very disappointed with this product and surprised that Energizer would sell it on the market. What has happened to the concept of the "Energizer Bunny"?

I bought a unit and used it twice; thinking it was user error, but the light never changed from red to green and never powered off even after the second time. The batteries were hot and I was worried. I returned the unit and batteries back to the store and exchanged it for an identical item thinking the one unit may have been defective... but my new unit is not functioning properly either. I plugged it in this morning at 9AM and its now 2:35 in the afternoon and the light has not changed to green. The unit is near my desk, so I have had my eye on it all morning... no changes. Batteries are warm to the touch. I'll be returning it for a full refund. :-(

Rated 1 out of 5Â by GPOOLE Not charging properly
I just purchased this product today and started charging the four 1300 Ma batteries just before noon.
The manual states that it should take 5 hours to charge the batteries. It is still charging after 7 hours .
I would accept a half hour discrepancy but after reading all of the other poor reviews about how short lived the chargers life was and the similarly poor response from your company to each complaint I have decided to return this item and get my money back.
I have checked the reviews for Duracell and they are much better.
