Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 268 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 8350 Projector I am pleased with my purchase so far. The projector is used with a 120 inch screen, foot ball games and movies are awesome with super HD detail. I purchased a refurbished unit from Epson. It looks like new to me, no cosmetic damage, manuals and remote were sealed in packaging. The lamp was new. This is a good buy. September 15, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Picture, unreliable lamp I love using my projector for movies and for PS4 gameplay. The picture is beautiful. Unfortunately, the lamp doesn't perform for as long as it should. June 17, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Epson 8350 This projector was great until 45 min into using it a message came on the screen that the unit was heating up and we shut it off. The fan was then set to high altitude (caused a bit more noise), however it still heated up. I emailed support and the answer was vacuum the filter. I can't believe the filter would get dirty in shipment. Twice more the unit would just shut off with no warning message. Eventually called support and they are sending a new one. I had to secure the shipment with a charge to my credit card, which they said would be removed when the first unit was returned. I like the projector, but we'll see how the replacement does. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by best priced high-contrast projector The 1080 resolution is excellent, but the 50k:1 contrast is what makes the image so beautiful (in a dark room.) Other projectors with this level of contrast cost double. The epson 5025 has even better contrast, but also costs double. The epson 2030 is only about 20% cheaper, and with 15K:1 contrast, does not have an image that is as satisfying. Also like the lens shift, can have projector to the side, not right in the middle of the sofa where you might bump it. Wish it was small like the 2030, and had the built in sound, but best deal out there for an image that is as good as a flat screen, and much bigger. June 7, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Warning - Auto Iris Errors I have had my projector for just about 2 years and have had to send it back twice due to an auto iris error which eventually renders it inoperable. I received this error again just last week on my second refurbished unit that was sent me. Needless to say I will be purchasing a different brand once this one stops working entirely... which should be shortly. Although it seems like it is a good projector for your money, it is not worth the hastle with regards to these errors, which after doing some research is quite common. I would not recommend buying one. December 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Epson 8350 Home Cinema Finally decided to finish out the basement. Wanted a Home Theatre setup. After many reviews went with the Epson 8350! Basement is not finished yet but couldn't resist setting up projector for first week of football and WOW! From approx 13' away screen size and clarity amazing even on a painted block wall! Hung the screen up and even more amazed! Friends and family wowwed as well! My son who is 6 said, " Daddy its better than I thought it would be." Not to mention playing Space Marine on the XBOX360. Haven't left the basement in 2 days and have been sitting in outside plastic Adirondack loungers! Do yourself a favor and just buy this projector! September 12, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Machine Purchased a Epson 7220 at first, but the projector image could not be adjusted to fit on a 120 inch screen. After calling Epson 3 times for adjustment tips, I asked the representative what will fit my needs for a home theater system. They suggested the 8350. This projector image can be adjusted to fit where the projector is mounted 16 feet from the screen just by the turn of the ring around the lens. I admit, I did not want to spend the extra money, but the representative convinced me this will fit my needs. A larger projector, but very easy to set up and used the same ceiling Epson universal ceiling mount purchased for the first projector. Great Machine!! May 30, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 8350 I went to the local brick and mortar to purchase after the holidays and the 8350 price dropped to close out the projector. First one went back to store due to overheating issue while under store warranty. Now after being totally satisfied for the next 500 hours I am having auto iris failure issues. Will be contacting Epson today. Great warranty, Great picture for everyday HD tv and movie watching. Not for the videophile community due to slightly less than stellar black or dark scenes. But perfect for everything else in between. You can't beat the overall picture with price. I would have given 4 ot 5 star rating if not for the technical issues. April 17, 2012
