Customer Reviews

1/8 in. x 250 ft. Galvanized Vinyl-Coated Wire Rope is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Inconsistent Quality I purchased 125' and 250' rolls of this clear vinyl coated wire for a deck railing project. After only 48 hours, the runs completed with the 125' spool have all yellowed. The runs with the other spool have (so far) maintained silver/clear color. So, after 5 hours of work, and $100 in wire rope, I'm taking the 250' roll back and going with full stainless steel (no vinyl). Lesson learned. Ugh

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it was purchased for I bought this vinyl-coated cable to make a dog run. The run is around 160' - 170' long, and so far it is working fine. As long as the vinyl coating holds up, I don't really see any problems in the near future. Cable is fairly easy to work with, and I'm happy I decided on this product!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from cloths line i needed something strong enough for my cloths line 60' spread and this cable was perfect for the job. buying by the roll made it affordable too. it is maintenance free, will not stretch over time and can carry the weight of wet cloths.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible If I could give it zero stars I would. this cable is terrible. I bought 2-50ft sections at my local Home Depot and it works better as a spring than wire rope. I can't keep it uncoiled. I spend hours untangling it only to come back an hour later to a tangled up mess. I have bought this cable before and it was good, so I don't know if I got a bad batch but I won't buy it ever again. I am beyond frustrated with it.
