Customer Reviews

12 ft. x 16 ft. Blue Medium Duty General Purpose Tarp is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Horrible Tarp Good Drop Cloth I bought this tarp to cover a sliding door that was being replaced to protect it from a severe storm for a day or two. The minute I put the slightest tension on the grommets the tarp would tear. Luckily I was able to go to a local, non-big box, lumber yard the next morning before the storm hit and that tarp worked great, even in 50mph winds. As a tarp I don't think I have ever had one this bad. But I did use it as a drop cloth and it worked quite well. As long as you will never need to fasten it down it will probably be fine

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not good for tarping a load you want to drive around This tarp might be good for covering up things around the house, but if you want to tarp a load that you expect to drive at highway speeds, forget about it. I was going to buy the heavy duty version of this, which may or may not have held up better, but the store was out. I will post a before and after picture, and you can judge for yourself. Luckily I sprayed the machine with metal preservative before I left, and the front part of the tarp held up pretty well, protecting most of the bare metal. I gave the tarp a 3 because it would probably be fine if you used for a stationary task. As for using it to tarp a load, it's a definite 0.
