This hinge does not appear to have a removable pin as stated in the description. Has anyone else run into this issue?

One half of the finial unscrews and the other appears to be made onto the hinge. It does not have a removable pin that I can locate.
Asked by: blah
One of the ball-tipped ends of the pin is threaded inside. Unscrew by hand (no tools required). Once that end is removed, you will expose the hinge pin. At this point you can punch the pin out very easily with any punch that will fit and a hammer. Thank you for reaching out.

Would this work on a wooden chest?

I am trying to replace hardware on a cedar chest. It has 2, 3 inch or 3 1/2 in non-mortise hinges in place currently but they are the bright brass color and I want something in satin nickel finish. I have ordered 3 new handles in satin nickel (BP 1786-WID) from HDepot. I was wondering if these hinges would work properly on a chest and if they would match the handles that I have ordered. Any time and assistance would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely,

What is the length from the hinge point to the first set of holes?
