I have used these tiles for various projects around my house. I have used them behind my stove, as a backdrop for a small kitchen cabinet that I chose not to replace the doors on after refinishing my cabinets. I have also cut the stainless looking ones into strips and used them on my appliances. In all of these cases, I used the double-sided tape that you can purchase alongside the panels at Home Depot. The only issue I had was behind the stove because of the heat but I just used a couple of finishing nails and you can't see them because of the finish of the tiles. We also had a new light fixture installed above our island in our kitchen and rather than repaint our entire kitchen ceiling (it is textured and would be a huge job!) I installed 2 panels above my island. For this I used nails to attach the tiles to the ceiling and again, you cannot see the nails because of the texture and color of the panels. I have many friends comment on how attractive the panels are and they can't believe they aren't metal! Hope this helps...have fun with your project!

Hello Kathy! Thank you for your question! The recommended adhesive is Loctite® PL Premium. (10.5 oz. adhesive tube size covers approximately 4 backsplash panels.) Consult the individual adhesive instructions on the container prior to beginning your installation. Lightly spray the adhesive with a fine mist of clean water before applying to wall. This will help adhesive cure. Follow the directions on the Backsplash installation guide. The second type of adhesive that can be used is a High-Bond Double-Sided Tape. This is applied in strips to the wall or the back of the panel. Please see the installation guide for specific instructions at www.fasadeideas.com. Answer:
Hi Kathy, you use a polyurethane construction adhesive, such as PL 400 or Liquid nails heavy duty construction adhesive. Either one of these will work great for you. You can find these in the paint department at your local Home Depot.
If you have other question about your project, please post them here and we will get you an answer.

Hello! Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, we do not recommend installing the panels in a non-temperature controlled area or outside. Our decorative Fasade panels were not designed for exterior use or extreme weather conditions. Can you apply these panels over tile in a kitchen, or must the tile be removed first? Would they adhere to tile if you sanded the glaze off of it?

The wall to which you plan to install backsplash panels to needs to be freshly cleaned, free from dust, grease, wax, etc. After you’ve cleaned the wall, be sure that it is dried thoroughly. Acceptable substrates are drywall, plaster or clean, smooth tile (glazed, porcelain type tile; not porous or textured), concrete, smooth stucco, wood paneling, mirror, glass, metal, etc.
Any damaged, loose or uneven areas must be repaired, patched, leveled and primed. Fill cracks and irregularities with wallboard compound or spackling, then sand smooth with fine-grade sandpaper. Any porous material like highly textured drywall, plywood (or any raw wood without primer), and wallpaper unless removed, sanded and primed, will result in adhesive failure. Read Less

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it! Once this product is up, only a professional could tell it is not actually metal, even to the touch. It gives off a rich glow as it reflects the under-cabinet lights. I was looking for backsplash that was inexpensive but would add a touch of elegance to my remodeled kitchen: this is it. Easy to cut and apply, but needs care in measuring around outlets and other obstacles. January 14, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fasade Paneling - Wall Installation. GREAT PRODUCT!!! We used Fasade Paneling under our bar on the wall and it turned out awesome! The panels are a bit pricey, but it looks great and it gets a lot of compliments! Make sure you measure twice and cut once! I decided to use Liquid Nails to secure it to the wall, it is cheaper than what they recommended and worked good. June 2, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good looking product I installed the panels as a backsplash in my new kitchen between the counter and upper cupboards. It looks very nice, although I don't know how it will hold up in the long run. January 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by On the kitchen Looks good adds lots of style, simple to install very shiny brilliant . I loved it. October 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great We've hung this in our kitchen and I must say it looks great. It was easy to do but make SURE you have a super sharp utility knife. Also, use the double sided tape along with a liquid adhesive and it'll be just fine. Great value! May 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by worked out great and was easy to install. The back splash added an interesting contrast to our new kitchen. April 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great versatility Love this product! It is so versatile and easy to use. I refinished my kitchen cabinets and used this item on the doors of my island and it turned out beautiful. I also removed the cabinet doors from a small cabinet above my stove and applied it to the back of the cabinet to create a backdrop so I now have an open decorative shelf. There are so many uses for this great product! April 27, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent and aesy to work with. Changed the whole looks of our kitchen. I used the glue instead of the tape and trowled it on with a fine notched trowel to eliminate any chance of waves showing up. It looks just like what a pro would do for an eighth of the cost. I would strongly recommend this product to annybody. It does take a little longer to glue than to use the tape but the looks are much more professional looking. March 25, 2012
