I can't use a grid system but I want to use the thicker(.032) panel and glue the 4' sides together on a 2x4
The application is inside a 36"x60" ceiling box which enclosed 5 -36'" long lights There is a lip around the bottom of the 36x60 box (6" below the ceiling which will support a panel on 3 edges on either end and 2 edges on the center panel (3 panels total) I want to lay in 2- 2x4's and glue one side of the two end panels and the center panels two
36" long edges butted together to the 2x4's

Answer:
That is a great questions. Thank you for asking. We dont recommend butting up the lay in panels as they are designed to be supported by a grid system and butting the panels up together will produce a visible seam. If you have any questions please call 800-434-3750. Thank you!
