This little gadget solved a slow-drain problem that my previous attempts (poor imitations of my hero McGyver) did not. I was about to buy a $30 drain snake when I saw this little item for $5. It was easy to use, clean and sanitize the Millipede. Storing it is a snap too, due to its malleability.

When I ordered a FlexiSnake from HomeDepot, FlexiSnake, Inc. (Imagination Products Corp.) sent me a Millipede as a Lagniappe. Well, the FlexiSnake Jr. did a great job of removing the clog. Just for fun and giggles, I then put the Millipede down the pipe. While the FlexiSnake did an exceptional job of removing the hair clog and there was no clog for the Millipede to remove, the Milliped with it's additional Velcro-like covering started removing the gunk along the pipe. Who knew that much grossness was in the pipes? I almost wish that FlexiSnake Inc. hadn't been so generous! Ignorance, while it might not allow for a clean and healthy home, is sometimes bliss.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TotalDIY Why didn't I think of this? This is so simple and so effective!
I was anticipating taking the drain apart to figure out why it ran so slow, but thought "try the inexpensive idea first." I pulled off the bathtub drain cover, shoved this down the drain and started pulling out tons of hair. I never suspected that. In less than a minute, the drain was flowing like new, and it's been trouble free since. For $3, you can not not have this. I bought the other two types and threw them into my tool box and I don't ever expect to have a bathroom drain problem ever again. This will save a $60 plumber call. And it's so simple! To clean, I'm just letting it dry out, and I'll hit it with a brush. The velcro sticks to anything. I bought the two flexible wire ones, and the vendor threw in the third straight one for free. I'm set for life.

My sink was heavily clogged. I had tried using different drain opener liquid but none of them worked. I found this product online and bought it just to try my luck. It worked surprisingly well just after the first try. I highly recommend it.

After not being able to order this from QVC TV Shopping Show, where I had ordered it previously, I called the Company directly. I spoke with Steve and then later with his Father, the founders of this great Company. They explained some of their newer products. I was astounded at much time they took with me. Very cordial gentlemen!
They told me I had to order through Home Depot. I could have paid shipping and had it delivered to my house, but I chose to get free shipping and pick it up at Home Depot. Home Depot kept me informed, via e-mail, when my order was shipped and then when it was ready for pickup. Both ordering through Home Depot by telephone and picking up my order in the Store was very easy. All the Home Depot people were great to deal with.
This product is superb! I use it in my bathroom sink drain, where I think my drain clogs from moisturizer creme and toothpaste--gummy products. I like this Millipede Hair Log Tool as well at the Original FlexiSnake Hair Clog. There is absolutely no need for harsh chemicals. These tools unclog the drain in minutes and are so very easy to use. No plumbing license required!
My only recommendation is that Home Depot keeps the product on its shelves versus having to order it online.

Good idea behind the concept, but it just didn't work for me. I was disappointed and was hoping this would solve my slow drain problem, but unfortunately, it didn't.
