Customer Questions & Answers

What section of this product is 22" H? The corner unit, or the rectangular units?

I really would prefer rectangular units of 8' x 4' x 27.5". I was considering purchasing 2 of these units, but the specification page is not clear about the length and height of each board, and it appears I would need to purchase additional stacking joints and still have left over pieces.

Customer Reviews

Two Inch Series 98 in. x 98 in. x 22 in. Composite Split Waterfall Raised Garden Bed Kit is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice! I chose this kit even though it was excessively expensive because I cant bend over since a car accident and I wanted a raised bed system. I also picked this kit because unlike treated arsenic and formaldahyde wood, it was made out of a less toxic recycled plastic that would not have chemicals leach into my organic veggie garden. I have to admit that this garden bed is very nice. It took my husband to screw on the end connectors because it was to hard for me to push the bit through the plastic as there are no predrilled holes to line up to. So make sure you have a flat surface to work on! I found the depth of the corner section to really be too deep for any type of plantings. I recomend the other bed this company offers that has 5 sections instead of this one with 3(if you have the room) because of this reason. This kit also doesn't have directions in it to get this layout shape, so you have to plan it out yourself or maybe even come up with another configuration with all the pieces. It was like playing with a giant lincoln log set! And pretty annoying when you are in 90 degree weasther with the sun baking on the pieces making them super hot to the touch. After all it is plastic. Be prepared to fill this garden bed with about 2.5 yards of dirt. Lots of wheelbarell fulls. All in all, after a weekend of work, I have a realy nice, neat, professional looking veggie garden. I just hope with this price it lasts for many seasons of use!!
