CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 45 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good basic refrigerator The Frigidaire is well-made and has all the things you would want in a basic refrigerator. 18.2 cu ft. gives plenty of room for storage; door shelving is well laid out; humidity-controlled crisper drawers work well. Glass shelves are nice and clean up easy. Keeps food cold on lowest settings in winter and normal in summer in an apartment without a/c, and so far this energy saver model is saving me about $10-15 a month on my utility bill over the ancient Hotpoint I had before. Makes some funky noises when the cooling cycle kicks in, but otherwise fairly quiet and runs for only about 15-20 minutes an hour. August 25, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Faulty Thermostat Had it turned to the coldest setting in order to keep the food cooled. Was like this new. The repair man replaced the thermostat and told me it was the fourth one he had done on this model. Have started turning it up colder and colder again just like before. Wish I had kept my old Amana that was 18 years old and still running. March 2, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Inexpensive With Nice Features As a new fridge, this unit makes great use of the space it has with shelving and a nice thick space in the door for large bottles (milk gallons, etc.) But build quality is a slight issue - when the fridge door closes the freezer door opens a bit (and closes again by itself, but still). Also, the freezer itself is quite small. But overall very satisfied. December 20, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This product is well worth the cost. Very happy with the product however it is a little noisy but not bad. February 19, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by NO FREEZER LIGHT Disappointed - in myself that I didn't verify there is a freezer light (because there isn't). Bad assumption on my part. Purchased for elderly parents and they are complaining about lack of light. June 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great so far! Only had it two weeks but great so far. It replaced a similarly sized fridge that was old and costing me an arm and a leg on my electric bill. This one has a huge amount of room inside and I like the layout. Glass shelves are a plus and really like that it has separate temp controls for freezer and fridge. Some reviews I read said it was noisy. Mine isn't and seems quiet to me. June 18, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by adequate PROS: Adequate product; priced fairly; works as advertised; sufficient space inside. CONS: Makes a lot of noise. Could use another shelf. Cannot remove shelf in freezer. Frig shelves made of glass and thus breakable. Directions on use skimpy. Manual and other printed materials only available online. Some problems with delivery & installation. May 21, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It seems quite noisy and clunks loudly when motor/fan kicks in. Looks great but noisy. Clunks when fan or motor kicks on. I have open design so it is heard in the living room October 30, 2012
