Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works very well if surface(s) below it were properly cleaned & prepared prior to being used. I've read many other reviews both good, bad & ugly. I feel for those that had poor results using this tape. I've been professionally painting for 40+ years & will tell you that it's a roll of dice, any time you're taping VS cutting in by hand. The reason I say this is because you can never know for sure if each & every coat of paint you are taping over was applied over a properly prepped surface. Nearly all good painters tape when removed can pull paint off where ever there's improper bonding of any previous layer of paint. Yea, I know what you're thinking, how can anyone know if the previously painted layer(s) are properly bonded. I'll tell you what I've learned after all my years & all the buckets upon buckets of paint I have applied, you can't. That's why it's a roll of dice & why most smart professional painters are so good at cutting in by hand, because we normally won't use tape for cut in. I normally only use delicate tape for when I'm masking off wall paper or cabinets, sometimes on wood trim & green on tile & wood flooring. I won't use it on ceilings or walls unless I know I'll have time to repair &/or do touch-up. So, since time is $ I'll only cut in by brush knowing that I won't be wasting my time doing repairs or touch-up if previously painted surfaces at one time or another weren't properly prepped. Now don't get me wrong, there have been times over all those years when I got lazy & taped ceilings &/ or walls & I too have had mixed results for the very same reasons I pointed out above & it didn't matter which brand of tape I used either. So, I advise all you DIY'er that want to save your hard earned money & do the painting yourself "learn how to cut in by hand" it takes steady hand & lots of practice. August 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great painting tape great for masking newly painted walls for painting designs on walls July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great product This product works great. I used it to mask a bare wood vanity before staining and polyurethane finish. It was applied for over a week and protected against 2 applications of stain and 3 coats of poly. Peeled off easily and gave professional results. June 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Better than common blue tape I had some issues with common blue tape which let the paint dripping behind it, even when I was applying it carefully. The vendor then recommended this tape to me and it works much better! June 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Good on Delecate Surfaces Used this on wall paper and it took the finish off. Used it on a painted surface after drying and it took the paint off. Actually seems to have more adhesive than the 3M Tape I normally use. June 5, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't work as well this time around. Used it as recd on the packaging. This time around it actually peeled off brand new paint and quite a bit as well, very disappointed in product. May 31, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not exactly perfect Some paint did escape the tape.leaking down my wall and causing me extra work. May 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WOW!!! Don't listen to the negative reviews. I used Frog tape delicate on 7 different cut in for color change. 4 of those cuts were ceiling to wall and the other wall to wall. I used Sherman Williams latex paint that was applied 18 hours prior for the surface to accept the tape. I was worried on the first wall so I did the easiest to fix first just in case. Put it on, cut in the areas and then a second coat and took the tape off immediately after the second coat. Crisp clean lines, didn't damage the fresh paint in the least. I am a believer and will be using this again! Great product. Just read and follow the instructions. May 1, 2016
