This Heavy-Duty door sweep is made of Heavy-Duty aluminum and nylon brush and can be used commercially or in residential applications. It is 36 in. x 2 in. and can seal gaps up to 5/8 in. This door sweep keeps warm air in and cold air out. It is unstapled only on the interior side of the door.

Installation Method
1.Measure width of door. 2.Shorten sweep if needed. 3.To prevent the brush from unraveling, slip it out of the metal and crimp the cut end with pliers. Slide brush back into the metal. 4.Place the product so the brush flexes against the threshold. 5.Mark the hole locations, then drill and screw into place.

The brush will seal a gap 5/8" tall. The brush is not 2". the entire door sweep is 2" tall.

I have a steel door. Does this door sweep come with metal tapping screws for use on a steel door?

No, these are not self-tapping screws. You would need to drill pilot holes for the screws.
