Answer:
Not to sure what you mean by bubble on the back. However you first need to get the space measurements and compare that with the overall machine dimensions. Width, height and depth. As for the depth you must allow for space for the dryer vent tubing and that may come to about 6" or so. It also depends on the venting location in the wall or header of the walls.

The rack is a 1/4" steel rod design and is coated with white powder epoxy paint. It is 18" in depth and 14" in width, to allow for large items.
To install the rack, simply hang it on the front lip of the dryer opening. As recommended in the dryer's Owner's Manual, the rack should be used only with the TIMED DRY cycle setting. The dryer rack should be used when there are no other clothes in the dryer.
I hope this helps.

Hello Patty,
Thank you for your question on the GE Electric dryer model # GTDX180EDWW.
Electric dryer power cords are sold seperately to ensure that they comply with all state and local wiring codes. These codes vary significantly from state to state, and even, city to city. Since it is not possible to anticipate the final destination of a dryer as it leaves the assembly line and install the proper cord, the local dealer usually provides the power cord. Each dryer must be on its own circuit.
Gas dryer electric rating is only 120V, 60Hz, 6A. They are supplied with a 3-prong grounding plug.
Model GTDX180EDWW has the following power ratings.
Volts/Watts/Amps: 240V,5600W,24A,60Hz or 208V,4400W,22A,60Hz
I hope this helps!

Answer:
This is a 220 volt plug not a standard 110 house hold plug if that is what your asking. You may need the correct dryer receptical for 220 v and the dryer wiring pig tail that plugs into that receptical. Some come with the new dryers and some do not. These days that is a hard one to guess at.

Hello Pumpkin - this is Nancy at GE and I am happy to help you.
The dryer power cord kit is not provided with the dryer. You will want to obtain one through your sales representative. The cord must be UL rated 120/240V, 30A with three or four prongs. We recommend that you identify the plug type for your house receptacle prior to purchasing the cord.
I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Loved it, til it broke This machine was quite loud,,,it echoed thru the room. And only lasted 2 yrs since the dial broke, and two days before that the dial broke on the washer too. Not kidding. August 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Price,Great Product Awesome product at great price!Would Recommend Anyday! June 7, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Stops drying Stops drying often after 15 - 20 minutes of operation. The solid 7-8 foot vent has 2 - 90's in it. We keep the lint catchers very clean and still it cuts out after 15 to 20 minutes. There is usually some lint to be cleaned at this point but not much. Top under control panel is quite hot to the touch, breakers and fuses seem to be ok but must be oversensitive. As is often the case, our old dryer may have been inefficient but it was problem free for 25 years. Hurray new tech...! March 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Quality I bought a similar model last year (it looks like they just change the Model # each year but the features/capacity are the same). I have had a repairman out four times due to a grinding noise in the drum. It is now out of warranty by a few weeks and guess what, it still has the noise. The repairman replaced some parts and added screws to it but the noise remains. My GE washer has also had problems. My base model Whirpool washer and dryer that I purchased for my first house lasted 14 years. I will be lucky to get two years out of these units. February 27, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor bargain Flimsy, cheap design. Doubt it lasts a year or two. March 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great product great product works wonderful a must buy from GE get one today February 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nothing but GE here Bought this dryer about 3 months ago after we decided not to invest any repair $ in our super old GE dryer. We've had all GE appliances for over 20 years & we will never buy anything else! This dryer does a great job, had all the features we wanted but none of the bells & whistles I don't care for. You can't go wrong with GE! November 16, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Very basic Although it does the work that is needed. The dryer is older and not the most updates version of GE appliances. I hate the loud noise in the beginning and at the end of the cycle. September 24, 2015
