Customer Reviews

Profile 20.7 cu. ft. French Door Refrigerator in Stainless Steel, Counter Depth is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from NEVER buy this product or any GE product for that matter Have had multiple service calls. The freezer doesn't close properly. You cannot fit anything in the freezer because drawers are not deep. Freezer temp. doesn't stay regulated. Everything that sits toward the back of the fridge, freezes. I throw out freezer burned food regularly, especially lettuce. Never resolved the problem, despite a 2 yr. extended warranty. Recently, friends purchased on and had the same problems. Sent it back immediately. Wished I did too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GE Profile refrigerator   We have had our GE Profile refrigerator for a couple of years and I love it! It has great storage and everything is very accessible.  Our old fridge had the freezer on top... what a waste of space.  I really like being able to find everything at arm level and it's easy to clean too!  The only downside is that my husband doesn't like leaning down to get the ice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Refrigerator We bought our 5 years ago.  No longer cools. :(  I thought "Certainly a fridge ONLY 5 years old would still be under warranty".  It is not.  Time to call the repair man after only 5 years.  DO NOT BUY!!!  This fridge will cost you hundreds of $ per year to own!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from So Disappointed I bought this refrigerator back in 2008. Within 3 months, I had problems with cooling the circuit board needed to be replaced. The refrigerator is noisy, food freezes in the refrigerator if anything touches the back and side walls. There is a moisture problem accumulating around the frig and had to replace the gaskets. Now, the refrigerator is too warm (50+ degrees) and the freezer is too cold (-21). For what I paid, I don't feel the quality is there compared to friends who have bought French Door stainless steel of other brands. I was originally planning on buying all the matching appliances to go with it but now will not. I will never buy another GE Refrigerator again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Refrigerator I have all G.E appliances in my kitchen and when I bought this I was excited to have my final piece. I have been pleased except that you need to be very careful and make sure the doors are shut tight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the counter depth french door refrigerator. The french door product lets you see the contents very easily. Love the full width meat and cheese drawer. Dismayed why counter depth refrigerators are so much more $$ to purchase. Seems like most people would prefer this type.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped working after a little over a year! After a year and a half our refrigerator stopped working because of a defective fan. After two visits from GE and throwing everything out of the refrigerator twice we had to pay out of pocked to get it fixed ($300, not to mention about $600 in groceries). We expected GE to stand behind their product and pay for the defective part and labor. Unfortunately the best they could offer was a small discount off parts and repair. If you do buy this refrigerator make sure to get a long warranty because GE will do very little if your warranty has expired. Ironically we had a year warranty and it died after a year and a half. I have had cheap refrigerators that have lasted for 15 years without any problems so needless to say this was very disappointing.
