Hi-this is Sue from GE. We are excited to hear of your interest! The temperature range of the warming drawer is different from the oven control. It is what we call an “open loop system” that means there is no feedback to tell the control what the actual warming drawer temperature is.
The temperature in the warming drawer will actually depend on the voltage at the house and the control selection.

The temperature in the warming drawer will actually depend on the voltage at the house and the control selection.
If the actual house voltage is lower than 120, the temperature goes down and on the flip side if the house voltage is higher, the temperature will go up.
We recommend using the food item recommendations listed in the use and care book. See page 21: http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfImages/95/95d2e56e-e200-468d-9b36-98e9f5b567bc.pdf

Answer:
Hello - this is Nancy at GE and I am happy to help you. I'm sorry, we cannot change the warming drawer to a storage drawer in this very nice range. Since our appliances have been designed to meet specific requirements, we do not support altering or changing any aspect of the design. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!

GE products are designed by GE engineers in the United States. The manufacturing facilities can and do change from time to time because GE continues to seek the most efficient manufacturing processes available. Currently, GE gas ranges are made globally to our specifications. For specific location information, the best source for the manufacturing location is the packaging/product itself. The country of origin is shown on the Model/Serial rating plate as well as the packaging.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 35 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it! Great quality Flexible baking options from regular to convection. Slide out shelf is great. Heavy duty, solid oven - high quality April 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely satisfied, this stove ROCKS! I saw this stove at a friends house newly remodeled kitchen and loved it so much I bought one for myself. The cast iron griddle is an excellent feature and my pancakes taste better than ever. All around best oven for the extreme chef since it features multiple burner options. It's good looks compliments my kitchen. February 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Overall, Stovetop Design Needs Improvment This oven is great overall. I love the cast iron griddle that comes with it! The broiler works well and the stovetop is easy to clean. I also really like the smaller burner within the tri-ring burner on the front, right. It's great for small pots and for simmering. However, the stovetop burner grate should be redesigned for the next model to decrease the height from the burner to the bottom of the pot/pan. Currently, the burner grate is very thick/high. This means that the bottom of the pot is a little too far from the flame translating into energy loss and longer cooking time. If the pot could be 1 cm or less closer to the flame, it would make a big difference! June 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LOVE IT!! have been researching ranges for two years. We settled on the GE profile and love it September 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This will make us happy for a long time... It's extremely well made and looks great. I like the fact that the griddle is on one side rather than the middle. And the biggest thing - it has 2 (two!) gas-burning heaters in the oven portion. That solves the biggest issues with gas ranges = uneven broiling in the oven! August 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by unique design the cast iron griddle is awsome, the power brner is great, the contro of the gas flame is not as good as could be expected though. If my old gas range had not broken when it did and I had of found out about the new induction cooking surface ranges sooner I would have considered inductiona better choice. July 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AMAZING THIS IS THE BEST RANGE I HAVE EVER HAD. PLAIN AND SIMPLE THE BEST BANG FOR THE $$ August 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this stove! This is a great appliance. I really enjoy the griddle eye and the Lodge griddle that came with it. Everything about this stove exceeds our expectations. July 7, 2015
