Yes they can. Also, the top shelve has enough space to store Pinot and Chardonay bottles, which is enough space for my use.

Are specs correct that the temp is one zone? Not dual--one for whites and one for reds?

One zone. Since I mostly store reds I set it at that temperature. If I plan on drinking a white I take it our and will put in my refrigerator to cool. I personally think two zone refrigerators are overrated.

Hi Heef,
This is Lisa from GE. I am happy to help. This model can be installed as a free-standing unit. The power cord of this appliance is equipped with a
three-prong (grounding) plug which mates with a standard

After 5 years of owning this wine cooler I find myself shopping for a new one. It was a lot of money for a baby fridge and really a lot of money for a baby fridge that only lasted 5 years.

Not as good looking as the Viking, but on the other hand this one actually cools wine. It was easy to install, no surprises in fit based on the reported dimensions. It has been installed and chilling only since Dec.10th/16 so I can't speak to durability, but so far we are pleased. We removed, stained & varnished and reinstalled the wooden drawer fronts to match our cabinetry and it seemed well put together. As some have commented, and like most coolers, champagne bottles are a challenge - we have 4 of them using up a drawer and they do bump the drawer above as it opens. I'm happy with our purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from quality product with minor missing details I like the design style but I don't like that you can't accommodate larger bottles utilizing the current rack system, but that you have to remove shelves in order to accommodate. The plastic trim is easily scratched and a bit "cheesy" for the high price tag, I would have expected a better grade of materials. I don't like that you don't know the temperature and that I have to buy a digital portable thermometer. Like the wood trim shelving and how sturdy the shelves feel when pulling them out. I'm sure we will enjoy this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Could Be Better Runs constantly and shelves are too close together so they get stuck on other bottles. Its not a digital thermostat, so you really don't know what temperature at which the wine is being stored. It's nice looking under the counter, but the functionality could be better. Also, repairs will cost you, I've had GE appliances for 2 years and have had issues each one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great, but runs constantly. We bought this wine fridge a few months ago and it works really well. Our only issue is that it seems to run 12 hours a day. It was built into a cabinet and there's a good 4" clearance to the wall, but that's what it's designed for. It's not any noisier than any other refrigerator, but 12 hours a day of humming/buzzing gets on the nerves.

We replaced a cheaper wine refrigerator which had broken after only two years with the GE Profile. We had the GE in our last home and liked it. The GE is quiet and stylish. It holds different sized bottles and cools well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice look, Functionality Could be Improved. Bought this unit because I had one just like it in another home. Nice looking undercounter unit. Median price point.Functionality would be greatly approved with addition of dual thermostats for red and white wine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving the new wine cooler After some research i ordered this and have to say it is a great product. The temperature holds perfectly at 55 near the top and slightly lower at the bottom...but very slightly. Buy it!
