Answer:
The unit can be converted to a recirculating mode. If you want to take advantage of the exhaust you will need to make provisions to have an exhaust duct installed. This duct should go all the way through the roof and exhaust outside. Do not exhaust in the attic.

No, installing a Spacemaker model in a cabinet or on a countertop is not recommended for any length of time. Over The Range models have built in hoods underneath which would not allow the model to be stable which could present a safety issue. Also, since air vents underneath unit may be blocked, the microwave could overheat & fail.
The product is designed, tested and approved by UL for use over a range. It is not designed, tested or approved by UL for any other use.

Answer:
Hello Carlee,
Thank you for your interest in the GE Advantium Speedcooking oven. I am happy to help.
This model is a 240 volt product. The number after the first 3 letters in the model number will tell you the voltage. For a 120 volt model, look for the 120 as the first numbers in the model nomenclature.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Hello Jim,
Thanks for your interest in the Advantium. I am happy to help.
The case depth is actually the box the unit is packed in. The assembled depth is a measurement of the product only.

Hello Julie, The 220 volt version will require that the proper wiring is installed into the cabinet cavity above the cooking unit. Most over the range micros are powered by 120 volts. The other installation charges will be comparable to any other over the cook top installation. There is a 120 volt version available that may be more appropriate for your installation. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great look and Just a work horse! This is a replacement of a 15 year old Advantium that just gave up after multiple use on a daily basis. You can cook turnovers, cookies, Chicken or just use it as a microwave. No kitchen is complete without an Advantium. Our kids just love it and when they come back home they just have to cook something. We just can't live without this oven. This one is designed nicer with a large compartment and 2 shelves. You can't go wrong with this product. September 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ONE OF THE FINEST PRODUCTS MADE BY GE I read what those who had problems with their Trivection Oven Microwave, I think they forgot to do "routine matainance" like "cleaning the inside of the oven" or put metal, even if it was by accident, into the oven. Carbon, from burnt food; wife was cooking and corn syurp boiled, splattered and walla, lighting in the microwave. I was called to solve this phenomenon, resident ElectronIic Engineer. Found the carbonized demon and exorsized it.. Building a new house and would you believe it; G.E. quit making the double trivection wall ovens! In short, if you buy our house, you'll need a double oven to fit in the hole, WE ARE NOT LEAVING OUR TRIVECTION OVENS! January 31, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Replacing 10 year old Advantium! I just had this new model Advantium installed to replace a 2001 model. I hope I will love it as much as I did my old one. It is very nice looking and the inside is larger than the old model although it fit in the exact same space so installation was fairly easy! I'm still getting used to the new controls and I miss the "manual cook" button from the old one. I'm not sure about the new "convection" mode and it seems like the cook times are longer on this new model but so far it is cooking very nicely. I'm one of those people addicted to my Advantium so I hope it works as well as my previous model! I'll update after a few weeks of use. March 15, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GE Profile PSA2201RSS This is by far the best unit I have ever used. The speed cook is awesome, I tested and the speed cook is faster then the gas grill, the taste was the same just baked. The speed cook is great if you need good tasting non processed food fast. The sense cook is great as well, especially for me as I am lazy. The unit is fairly easy to clean, I have found that if you use a paper towel while its still hot, it cleans in less then a minute. This unit is user friendly on all aspects, even my 7 year old can use it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] April 8, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Such a versatile appliance Since there are just two of us at home, we were looking for a small oven and our kitchen designer suggested the Advantium. This oven does it all! We especially enjoy using the speed cook mode as it cooks food not only quickly but also very well. It is very easy to use with many preset recipes. The microwave mode is not as powerful as our previous stand alone over-the-range microwave. We did have a few problems with it, but GE took care of the issues, even when they occurred just out of the warranty period. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] February 14, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This Microwave does EVERYTHING-I love it! It's like having a second oven. It grills, roasts, bakes and more. The speedcook is amazing-there's no preheating! When it first arrived I was overwhelmed by all the dirfferent trays and racks and what tray to use when I did this or that. BUT then I discovered the microwave actually tells you what tray to use-so it's EASY. You just punch it what you're making and scroll through whether it's fresh...frozen etc...and it tells you which tray to cook in. And it also has the regular microwave functions-but the other menu items are much more fun. I use it more than my profile oven-especially when I'm just cooking for two.I had to install a new outlet for it because it's so powerful-and I started having 2nd thoughts after paying the electrician-but I now and so glad that I did. Well worth it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] May 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fun Appliance I bought this oven when remodeling a kitchen for the convection oven feature, so that I would have that "extra" oven for those times when a single oven isn't sufficient. We do primarily use this as a microwave, but the speed cook and convection oven features are great to have. All the features are great and it's been fun learning to use this new appliance. I understand this oven is no longer being manufactured, but if GE has another similar appliance, I would highly recommend. October 23, 2013
