my breaker keeps tripping

I have a outlet outside that keeps tripping the breaker I replaced the outlet because water got inside of the water proof box and it still keeps tripping the breaker. Does that mean that the breaker is bad and I need to replace it.

You need a "Extra Duty" cover installed on a WP box, for the receptacle. Dry out all the wiring and install a new receptacle, if it shows signs of moisture.. Take extra care to seal the box and keep the cover closed (run the cord out the bottom knock-out) The slightest amount of moisture will trip any GFCI.

Would this serve as a breaker in a water well pump system?

My electrical and water pump are located in my basement. In case of accidental water line breakage I want my well pump to cut off and protect my house from flooding. Would the breaker automatically shut down if moisture was detected?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price for a hard to find item.. I looked everywhere locally to find this. Thank goodness Home Depot had it.. Do to an old electrical box we needed to update our pool electrical on a Sunday and could only find 50 amp GFI locally in a pinch, not thinking it would be so hard to replace with 20 amp GFI. Thought I would run to the local store come Monday but to no luck couldn't find it. This product was exactly as described.. Fast shipping..
