What is the CRI Rating

What is the CRI Rating of these bulbs. With LED I am finding the color of my interior decorating is very different if I use an LED with a low CRI rating, ie 80. If I use a bulb with a high CRI rating my colors look close to the same as under my beloved Halogen bulbs. CRI rating, bulb color rating in Kelvin and Lumens output all together tell me what a bulb will look like.
Asked by: BlueBelly
The GE BR30 Reveal LED has a CRI of 90.....

Customer Reviews

65W Equivalent Reveal (2,700K) BR30 Dimmable LED Light Bulbs (3-Pack) is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flickering after 1 year Bought 50 bulbs to replace all recessed lights in my house. 7 of the 50 are flickering and have been replaced after 13 months. There is a flaw with this product and am contacting GE for resolution. Won't risk buying again. When they worked, they gave off great light and the dimming ability worked well. If it were one or two that had failed out the the 50, then ok. Buy 7 and a new one failing every week or two? Sorry and good luck.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flickering after less than a year I bought ten of these for my kitchen. I double checked to make sure the dimmers we used were compatible. After less than a year, six of them began flickering on and off, just as many of the other reviews have mentioned. This is NOT a result of using the dimmer. It happens regardless of the dimmer setting. I even moved one of the bulbs to a fixture with a regular on/off switch and still had the flickering and times when the bulb would just go out for a minute and then come back on. Like many others, I'm very disappointed with this bulb. It gets high ratings for the color and lumens, but it's simply not reliable. I won't be buying these again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from high failure rate Many failures, lots of flickering and randomly turning on and off. Stay away, low quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Bulbs I ordered these bulbs through the Home Depot web site. The customer service was great. I had a question about the delivery so I called the customer service number on my order receipt. The service person was very helpful and truly went the extra mile to give me all the information I requested. As for the bulbs, my first impression was that they are very well made. I promptly installed them in our kitchen overhead lighting. They produce a very nice clean light and have a much better range of dimming than the CFL dimmable lights they replaced. These also turn on instantly unlike the CFL's do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Very Equal Replacement to Incandescents I have one of these amongst my can lights and to be honest I can't tell which is which as far color temperature and what not. I generally prefer soft white incandescents in my can lights, because they can be so darn bright. They also get so darn hot. This bulb is on the bright side, but I do have some incandescents which are the same wattage but some brands are just brighter than others. I find this one matches the brighter incandescents, but doesn't get hot, which can help during summer when you're trying to keep your house cool. I'm happy with it, and would certainly buy more, accept then last like 20 years. Pretty nice really

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bulbs Used these bulbs to replace some from another brand that overwhelmed the standard dimmer on a six-bulb series over our kitchen island. These dim perfectly, and the color is much more pleasing. Worth the extra cost.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Incandescent Reveal bulb equivalent....... sort of!!! Bulb has the beautiful Reveal color but doesn't have the dimming range of the incandescent version.... it is quite a bit brighter throughout and doesn't go dim enough at the lowest setting. I would still recommend it for its color and energy savings.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not reliable So far 4 out of 23 have gone out, during the last 6 months, due to over heating. The power consumption (12 watts) is too high for use in eyeball can fixtures in a well insulated ceiling. But the package says nothing about this limitation. BR30 LED lights of 9 and 10 watts work fine. Or maybe the GE Reveal is just more 'made in China' junk. Another GE LED of the A19 configuration has also demonstrated this same problem. Recommend to stay away from the GE brand.
