Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Howard Inexpensive, Fully Back-Lighted, User-Friendly Universal Remote Control
After a long search for a fully back-lighted remote control, I was able to find this inexpensive device from an unlikely vendor, the Home Depot. What I couldn't tell when I ordered it online was if I could use it to control the RCA digital converter box DTA880. None of the codes given in the code list worked, but the auto code search worked just fine. Not all the buttons work, but I am able to control most useful commands. What is also important is that all the buttons are back-lighted and it costs only $7.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Former Customer Claims to control Fire TV... Doesn't
Bought it because the package said it would control a Fire TV... It doesn't control it contacted customer support about the wrong information on the package reply was "Unfortunately this was an error that was not caught until there were a couple of thousand remotes sent out. This remote will not work with the Amazon Fire Stick." Even the website claims it will control a Fire TV, So I replied back about what to do with it and maybe a recall because of the information being wrong they replied "I would recommend doing what most people when they purchase an Universal Remote and it doesn't work with their device and that is take it back to the place of purchase and exchange it. Even if the remote had codes for your device there still isn't any guarantees that it would work. There will not be any recalls on a remote because someone didn't catch the mistake in time."

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Kasey Lacking features and buttons
I use this product to operate a Dynex TV and a Daewoo DVD/VCR combo player. It was easy to set up both of my devices with this remote. However, I am finding it hard to use the devices once set up. I can open my TV's input menu with the input button (top rightmost button) but I cannot select an input using the OK button. This button is also a mute button and only seems to mute my TV. Navigating DVD menus is possible but sometimes a challenge. You use the up/down arrows, but not left/right, then you press play button (not OK button) to make a selection. To access the menu, you press the DVR pause button. To skip ahead a chapter, you use the Up arrow button at the top left of the navigation buttons. There is no way to go back a chapter as far as I can tell. Using this remote is not very intuitive and changing inputs does not work at all for my TV.

I wanted small and sleek and it was that and worked great for my other devices but found no codes for Insignia receivers like the NS-R2000

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DWS7 Excellent spare remote
The big, back-lit keys are great at night!
I use it on my TV as the original remote is getting worn on some keys.
