Is the pull down hose itself braided nylon or stainless steel coil?

Asked by: LL
The pull down hose is braided stainless steel, and so are the supply hoses.

My sink has three faucet holes.

It looks like the faucet is designed for only one hole. Is there a matching plate to cover the unused holes? Thank you.
Asked by: Builder
This comes with no covers, not even a single beauty ring. It's made to mount directly to the sink, tile or whatever. You can go onto HD or other sites and buy covers that will cover the other holes leaving a single hole in the center or even single plugs to plug the other holes in case you want to add a soap dispenser. The costs range from about $2 for a plug to about $25 for a high quality chrome plate.

Concetto Single-Handle Pull-Out Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in StarLight Chrome is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality and style Grohe is an amazing manufacturer of high end and high quality kitchen and bath faucets and the Concetto single handle pull out kitchen faucet is a prime example of high design meeting quality. The sheer weight of the solid brass construction is impressive. The mirror like chrome finish is flawless and, although it will likely show every finger print and hard water spot, the soft rounded design of the faucet virtually act as a mirror with all of the different reflections that this high-end and stylish design offers. I'm curious to see how the Starlight Chrome holds up over time with any slight scratches and daily use. No abrasive cleansers on this one! Easy install and the included coiled metal supply lines are a nice addition to offer some assurance against accidental leaks. The handle itself moves like butter with enough resistance to easily and accurately control not only the water flow but to set the appropriate temperature to your liking. PLEASE NOTE that if you are trying to use this for a 3 hole sink application, there is no deck plate!! This is for SINGLE HOLE install only so be advised! Grohe does offer universal deck plates but that needs to be ordered separately. Also note that there is a hard plastic ring inside the opening where the sprayer inserts into the neck of the faucet. I can only presume that this may be a point of concern over time as the sprayer nozzle clicks into that plastic ring each time you retract the hose back into place. Not sure why this isn't metal?? Keep in mind that it comes with a lifetime limited warranty so I guess it's not something to be too concerned about but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Look and Gentle Flow I have had two goose neck faucets in the past and nether compare to the Grohe Concetta. Easy to install and the look and quality is very nice. The water flow is a lot smoother than other faucets. The neck is not as high as the two I had previous and the water splash is a lot less. I did not find a marking for hot and cold side to the water hoses and put on wrong, other than that an excellent unit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Grohe Concetto I'll probably be the only one to review this, that finds this product disappointing. I've included some pictures to help explain with my ramblings. I've designated the explanation with a (P) when the explanation contains a picture. I hope my review helps with your decisions. The product itself, does need assembly. The neck and spray head are not assembled, you must do this yourself. I was going to "dry" fit the neck, but since the body contains a keeper lock ring (P), I did not want to dry fit for I would not be able to get the neck back off the body. When deciding on value, I generally look for a faucet to be of superb quality and design when you do NOT get extras such as a lotion/soap dispenser ($50-90) cost or a matching deck plate for 1 to 3 hole mounting ($25-50). You do not get these items included, so for the price I expect superb quality and design. The Good: + The body is heavy, which is of quality brass + The finish is of brilliant chrome The Not So Good: - No deck plate or lotion/soap dispenser included. - Does Not come assembled. - The spray head is only 1-5/8" long (P), making griping the head difficult for those of us with fat fingers. Keep in mind your hands will be wet since after all, this is for a sink. - The spray head is a plastic with a chrome coating. - The spray head contains 2 notches (P), which must be aligned with the neck in order for the head to seat correctly. This makes for a huge inconvenience each and every time you use the pull out function. - The numerous parts involved for assembly (P). I was actually a bit taken back to see this from Grohe. These are not consumer friendly, even though you do get pictured instructions. - The small toggle spray/stream button. I imagine this is so small since the spray head is small. All in all, my biggest complaints are : The faucet not being assembled. And, the small spray head.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HIGH END NAME....HIGH END QUALITY Very seldom does one get the opportunity to own a faucet with the name brand recognition of Grohe. This high end full brass body, chrome covered body Conettto is both heavy, beautiful and a complement to any kitchen. The 120* smoothless side to side swivel, the ease of movement in the single handle on/off valve mixer and the heaviness and weight just scream quality. Little added extras like a plastic neck insert to keep the extending spray hose from fraying, the simple fit that make it look as if it weren't even a spray faucet. Braided stainless and so much more is just a few reasons you can see the respect for the reputation for the name and just only a few more dollars than what similar high end competitors are asking for theirs without the attention to quality. Two things that left me baffled were that in the final thought process were the sprayer. Why go with plastic instead of staying with metal like the entire finish or at least providing a replacement of such an inexpensive part in case of damage or plugging and in that same tone, why not make it a cinch to align to the neck when retracting. I'm not one to go with the gimmicks of the touch faucets that need batteries, plugged in or when the cat jumps on the counter and rubs against it turns it on, nor those ugly switches that seem to have always have problems with the rubber covers coming out of the casing or gumming up. It just seems that one simple step of adding a little more metal would have cast this faucet into the never needing fixed or replaced 1950's made in America products.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks Great and works OK Looks Great and works NOT so great "Super" cartridge valve is so easy to move that it can be tricky to get temperature or water flow "just right" Pull out is small plastic that is supposed to retract with a spring that I found useless for my needs so I used a salvaged weight instead I suggest treading the pull out sprayer hose into the body before mounting to the sink/counter...If you use the directions you would mount body to sink first and then thread hose through body and this proved extra challenging.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High Quality; Not User-Friendly to Install The Grohe name is synonymous with quality, so to own a kitchen that is near commercial grade in quality would not be unexpected. This one is probably best suited for installation by a plumbing professional or a DIYer who has time and patience, as it has more installation parts (less manufacturer pre-assembly) than comparable faucets, and the instructions are graphic and could be better. Once installed, the smooth operation of the handle and spout are superb. The spray head is made of plastic, which is somewhat disappointing for Grohe, but typical for the industry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy Duty, Yet Sleek Look Wow, this faucet is much heavier than one might think! To me, that's a sign of it's quality and durability. If you just tap on it with your nails, you can feel the quality. The chrome is beautiful, shiny, and looks high-end. The pull out faucet is a must. If you've never had one, it's great for rinsing the sink, extra large pots/dishes, or reaching out of the sink to fill something up with water. The handle is easy on/off, and is to the side for quick access. High quality, sturdy, and durable product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice kitchen faucet from Grohe This a very high quality kitchen faucet as everything else from Grohe. The Star Light Chrome finish is very beautiful and shiny. The faucet looks very modern, it also very heavy. which is great. I was somewhat surprised and puzzled that such great quality faucet has a plastic spout. Grohe, please make it metal as well. The installation was very straight forward without any problems whatsoever. The water pressure is very strong despite very small spout. Overall it is a great value faucet.
